Well, friends, the verdict is in. My Mom has cancer. Tongue cancer, to be exact. The doc is sending her to get a PET scan next Tuesday to determine what stage it's in, and then they can begin treatment. Thank you all so much for your prayers! Please continue to pray for her and for my family. Thanks and God bless!

God bless everyone.
I am a Seventh-day Adventist. I keep the Saturday Sabbath as God intended throughout the generations. Any-one that is keeping Sunday as the Sabbath is chasing the Egyptian sun god. That is how Sunday got it's name. We are the remnant church spoken of in Revelation and we have the spirit of prophesy.

Welcome to my new blog! I hope to share some valuable insights about the kingdom of God here with you as well as some interesting stories that i am sure will bless you. Let me begin by sharing a litle about my faith. One reason why I am such a big fan of Christianity is because it provides a true, solid foundation that I can build my life upon. It is my starting point, my fuel for the journey, my safety net, as well as my final destination. Every morning I say a little prayer of thanksgiving…

Our Sufficiency is From God
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God
2 Corinthians 3:5 KJV
____________ ____
Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled in the body…

God wants you to make it to heaven. God will help you and empower you to live right. At the same time, we get to choose the right things in life. We get to turn away from wrong things. We get to overcome temptations. We get to say yes to God and no to temptations. We can say, 'No, in the Name of Jesus!' to things that would try to distract us from living for God.
Below are Bible verses to help you. There are many good Bible aids found in…

I have been feeling down because I miss my son. I know I am not the only Mom out there that has a child who leaves home for one reason or another but this is my story. My son left for basic training in the army in February. Him and I have been close until these past two years. I have been praying for my son -today he called me. He has only called me a couple times but today's call was more meaningful. God is awesome. He has carried me through this troubling time with grace and…

The Sovereignty of God
SOVEREIGNTY OF GOD
God, who exists as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, is sovereign and exercises supreme and absolute rule over all creation as a part of and consistent with the essence and attributes of Deity. The biblical teaching that God is the source of all creation and that all things come from and depend upon God. Sovereignty means that "God is in all and over all".

This picture is to illustrate what is not going on with God and satan. this is what happens when we as Christians in the body of Christ.Think that we are more important than the other members of the body the apostle Paul spoke on this in his letter to the Corinthians one of the main problems of the first century Corinthian church was division. the church was divided among at least four factions, each of them aligned with one of four prominent…

If the Spirit calls you to pray, just pray. If you have someone on your heart, someone you've been thinking about, just pray for that person. I certainly don't know why/how but your prayers might be what God uses to keep someone from harm. Your prayers might just be what delivers someone from spiritual warfare.
What if when you thought about that someone, when you got that "feeling" about that someone, that person was at war and you were being called as re-inforcement? what if you…

People Are Precious
JOHN 3:16 BBE
16 For God had such love for the world that he gave his only
Son, so that whoever has faith in him may not come to
destruction but have eternal life.
We may be too familiar with John 3:16 for its message to impact
us as it should. When it says that God loves the world, it
means the people of the world.
God loves people -- even the sinners. ALL the people of…

THE CENTER OF GOD'S WILL
The safest place in the world is to be in the center of God's will."
Those were the words of a woman has spend most of her life sharing the love
of Jesus Christ in a culture so different from ours that most of us who were
listening to her story could not imagine living the life she described. She
has moved into a culture where life-threatening experiences were the norm,
the language was…

I haven't been here since I first signed up. I'm really sorry to all the people who so graciously reached out to me in friendship... I'm just... really tired, really discouraged.
The thing is... I don't know where I'm at. I know God in my head... I accept the Truth on an intellectual level. But my heart feels cold and dead. I see my Christian friends, and they seem SO spirit filled, so close to God. And I wonder, whats wrong with me? Why don't I have that? What am I doing wrong? When…

Fruit of the Spirit - The Nine Biblical Attributes
The fruit of the Spirit is a physical manifestation of a Christian's transformed life. In order to mature as believers, we should study and understand the attributes of the ninefold fruit:
Love - "And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him" (1 John 4:16). Through Jesus Christ, our greatest goal is to do all things in love. "Love is patient, love is kind. It…

Am I wrong in not feeling comfortable about praying for adversities that I bring into my own life?
I feel wrong about praying for things that "I knew better" and yet still chose to...
I also feel wrong about not praying about these things because it might just be pride.
Am I thinking "I broke it,therefore I must deal with it on my own?" as if I could!
see....It's one thing to say to God "Father, I was minding my own business doing what you command when..." but…

I was born into a Catholic Protestant marriage but got put into foster care because they were unfit to be my parents, lets not go into detail of why. But I was fostered by a Pagan (specifically Wiccan) family. THEY ARE NOT SATANIST OR EVIL OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT! Sorry but a lot of people have a go at them because of it, they are very nice people and have taught me a lot about their religion but have never pressured me into becoming one myself, they know it’s my decision and have only taught me…

Matthew 4:3-10.As you read these scriptures you will see that Jesus response to all three temptaions was to quote the Word of God, Which is to show us His Followers the power of scripture in battling the the evil one(see Deut. 6:13;8:3; Ps. 91:11,12). There was nothing morally wrong with turning stones to bread; Satan was tempting Jesus to do a miracle outside of the Father's will. This explains why Jesus quotes Deut. 8:3. Bread alone does not sustain…

This something that I thought would be neat to do instead of just saying "TGIF" on Fridays. We should say something like "TGIS" every day, because every day we wake up is a blessing! So let me know what you think "TGIS" means and I will reveal the meaning of this acronym next Friday! Go ahead and be creative and tell me what you think it is?…
