Interests:: Many many many things, anything under the sun (and beyond) interests me. I do find life utterly fascinating...but most of all I love to read and nap..oh and running, I love running

I'm passionate about...: My rat babies (and all other animals), learning truth (because I believe in absolutes), beauty...art...and of course finding God

My story with God: I've always had a close relationship with God, even though I may have not always been aware of his presence. Growing up in an agnostic home wasn't easy, because it meant having to find your own way (especially when my father was an "ex-pastor" who was scorned and deeply hurt by his church. Allot of religious doctrine was thrown around my house, as if it never "really" meant anything...but the whole time I was listening, looking for God. The truth is I'm not really sure about Jesus, but having been through so much pain...and seen and done sinful things, I'm looking for something more. I guess when you've tried everything in the book to be happy and still come up empty handed, you wonder what you're doing wrong. A friend of mine suggested that I've been looking in the wrong direction...so here I am, this is my new direction.

Other stuff about me:: I'm sitting here with my rat baby Mimmsie and she squeaked at me trying to get my attention so I must attend to her needs :)

Goodbye Emma

Thank you all who have been praying for Emma's return, but it seams that her fate has taken a different course. A new kitten has been staying with me, and it was my mom's and I's idea to have the kitten (Isis) help sniff Emma out. I had been dosing off with Isis when the birds (mom has 3 parakeets, peaches and...I forget the other name). I got up to go to the kitchen and check on the creamed corn I've been making from the seasons low costing corn I bought (I got 8 nice big ears for about 3.50).… Continue

I'm in a Sinking Ship

I know I didn't elaborate on the issue, but that was because I was still very angry and didn't want to risk saying something I didn't mean. The truth is my whole family has been under allot of strain since the passing of my step-mother to lung Cancer. Can't Communicate

lately I've been clinging to my bible hoping to derive some truth on what I should do. Somehow my biological mother has gotten into her head, that I am not what I really am. She is seeing all this evil instead of the good intentions and the love I have. When I say something...intending to mean one thing, she goes off the deep end thinking that I mean something else. Then WHEN YOU LIE DOWN, YOU WILL NOT BE
AFRAID; YES, YOU WILL LIE DOWN AND YOUR
SLEEP WILL BE SWEET. ( PROVERBS 3:24 )
