I feel as if I am forever searching to find my purpose in life. I know that I've accomplished many things and that I make a difference, bur I cannot help to think that there should be more to life than what I have... Being thankful for what I have and doing everything to the best f my ability as this is what God wants from us I get. But why will God give me talents and not use me in some more extraordinary way than what I'm living now?

I just have to take a moment thank God this morning... last night I was invited over to a friend's house to play the trumpet with him and a friend of his, it was a great time. It was so great just to play trumpet with some real musicians
it was a totally new experience, and I'm just so excited now about what God is doing in my life.

(Inspired by Mike Murdock’s book, ‘The 3 Most Important Things in Your Life)
The Holy Spirit is the Source of Joy. His Presence brings joy. His fruit is joy. His Wisdom increases our joy. He is the Spirit of Wisdom. The pursuit of money, or having it does not produce joy. We cannot depend on our loved ones to create an atmosphere of happiness.
There are five misconceptions about joy. Many think joy comes from people, promotion, progress, power or possessions. The wise…

LORD CHANGE MY APPETITE
It is our appetite that draws us to do what we do and causes God to respond accordingly. “The laborer's appetite works for him; his hunger drives him on”. Proverbs 16:26
Our desires must therefore be right. “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled”. Matthew 5:6
If one way or the other we have wrong appetites then they have to be changed and unless one is killed the other one cannot…

From My Perspective - - -
Language serves a very useful purpose. How it is used can either clarify or obscure; compliment or insult; amplify or cause ambiguity. Google News has a lead article today by Christopher Hawthorne, Architecture Critic who is commenting about Michael Jackson and Neverland. It is clever and skillful writing but not without the caustic and biting comment. He writes: “It was while I was bumpily making my way across a rope bridge in a quiet corner of Michael… Continue

According to the Catholic bishops of England and Wales, in giving evidence to parliament on the Equality Bill 2008-9 (see: http://www.ekklesia.co.uk/node/9558), "unjust discrimination is fundamentally wrong." But does this terminology not imply there might be another category of "just discrimination" which is slightly less awful, or even in some circumstances righteous?

Good Day~
1. Pray that the truth and inspiration of God's Word will be revealed for you from this passage . . . 2. Read the passage 3. "What do you NOTICE?" Read it again, and highlight what strikes you 4. If it fits, pull it apart for application.
Acts 18.23-19.7 After spending some time in Antioch, Paul set out from there and traveled from place to place throughout the region of Galatia and Phrygia, strengthening all the disciples. Meanwhile a Jew named Apollos, a native…

Greetings from the Reed Family,
We hope this letter finds all of you well and we trust
that God is richly blessing your family. This correspondence
is two-fold in nature and we're seeking the Lord's will
in its effort.
As many of you are aware, the past 3 years have been challenging
and yet a wonderful time of growth for our family, physically,
as well as spiritually. Since the time of my cancer treatment
in 2006, we have sought to…

APPETITES/DESIRES OF THE SOUL
1. Appetite for the presence of God
This ranks above all the other desires of the soul. It is Gods desire that we come to Him for just who He is not because we want something or you want a message from him to preach. Just like David soul longed for Him. “O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;” Psalm 63:1
Do you desire…
