We may have been born in this world but apparently we are not to be of this world. Should we ever find ourselves seeking this world and its gifts, its people and its praises, the glamour and glitz it can shower upon us....BEWARE....you might loose your citizenship in God's kingdom.
John 15:19 --- If you belonged to the world , it would love you as its own.. As it is , you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates… Continue

Good day~
lifesaver |ˈlīfˌsāvər| noun
"1 (informal) a thing that saves one from serious difficulty 2 a ring-shaped life preserver." Do you need a LIFESAVER? Sometimes when my back is against the wall, and there seems to be no place to turn, I read stories of people with great faith in the Bible, and take comfort in seeing how the Lord cared for them--how He heard from Heaven, and met them. One of my very favorite is found in 2 Chronicles, chapter 20. Does trusting God really pay off?…

Friends!
Prophetess Arleen here to encourage you in the Lord today!
I am just so sick and tired of the devil lies and how we get so sucked into everything he says and everything we see as though that that... Whatever we see and experience in this life is only one side of the coin... we take it as though there is nothing we can do about it or accept our situation as the reality. So often we will say if God wants it to change, He will…

“
Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers and read it. And he went up into the house of the Lord and spread it before the Lord”. 2 Kings 19:14 also 15-19 (AMP)
Brethren I don’t know the message you have received this morning or what situation you find yourself in or the counsels that powers have taken against you this day. But, if you will bring everything before our God and begin to exalt Him above the situation (Verse 15-19); He promises to come through…

From My Perspective - - -
What should one do when surrounded by the consequences of one’s own actions? Is there ever a time for reality to set and responsibility to be accepted? When trying to avoid responsibility, what is the response in terms of the calamity at hand? In the area of politics, one resorts to “Shrub-Drubbing” (or “Bush-Bashing”)! For the next four or eight years, every negative experience imaginable is not the fault of the current office holders – it is because of… Continue

(from Mike Murdock’s book…3 Most Important Things in Your Life.)
The Holy Spirit is HOLY. Words matter to Him. Conversation is important to Him. Our conduct and behavior is monitored continuously.
Seventeen Facts Every Christian Should Know About Grieving the Holy Spirit -
1. The Holy Spirit is easily grieved and offended.
Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for edifying as the need may be, that it may give grace to them…

We are foreigners in this land (Hebrews 11:13)
”
These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth”. It is therefore very strange for us as Christians to loose or forget our culture for a new one.
Wherever you go the system will try to influence and change your appetites and it’s very easy for us to pick up those appetites…

Lord I come to you this morning, standing in awe as a witness to your astounding greatness and power. When I started the task You gave me, I did so in the feverish hope that You would send me the teachers I needed to fulfill this task. AND JUST HOW DID YOU ANSWER MY PRAYERS!!! I come to you to humbly thank you for providing above and beyond my wildest dreams. I come to you on this day to exalt You above all for hearing my prayers and proving once again that if You start something, You will also…

Acts 14.1-20 As I read today's passage over and over, I was struck by how fickle these people were. . . how they were influenced first one way and then that. A couple weeks ago, we discussed the strategy of Satan to tear down, to rip off, to destroy wherever possible. One of his best ploys is to play with our minds; when he gains access to a weak mind, he can wreak all kinds of havoc in our thinking--causing doubt, guilt, fear, anxiety, etc. So, I see how the devil no doubt was involved in the…

Will “failed” Christians go to Heaven?
Grace: one of the most misunderstood doctrines in the Church today.
Do you ever feel confused with how good works play a role in the life of a believer?
Do good works play a part in salvation or it is that they are part of growing in grace?
Will the true grace of God allow a person to remain unproductive after authentic Holy Spirit conversion?
Who’s right, the Apostle Paul or was James right? Or were both of them saying…

As i listened to a sermon this morning of a friend of mine, i was once again touched by his words. His whole sermon was about salvation and choices we have to make.
The message was from Luke 13:6 onwards about the fig tree that doesnt bear any fruit. So the owner of this tree told the vinedresser (or call it the garderner) to remove this tree, but the gardener asked him for another chance for this tree, he will nurse this tree, dig around it, fertilize it, water it and look after it,…

C.S. Lewis once said that unless a complicated argument could be simplified to appeal to the average person, the chances were that the one doing the explaining did not understand it either.
As Christians we need to be critical thinkers, which is a basic skill, ideas govern the world or throw it into chaos. So, my net work of friends let us be able to talk logically, appreciate the arts and engage in table talk, only by doing all three can we be effective as Christians for this is not…

Today me and my sister Melissa watched a movie called
"Exodus Revealed" and they think they found where Mount Sinai is and where the Israelites crossed the Red Sea. They think it is in the Aqaba Gulf. Mount Sinai is thought to be in Saudi Arabia. We saw ruins of Israelite houses in Egypt, chariot wheels covered in coral, high mountain peaks and a rock split in half as if by water. We loved it.
God bless,
Michelle and Melissa
