STOP ASKING WHY AND POSITION YOURSELF FOR GOD

Sometimes in June this year i lost my job as a personal assistant/ secretary in one of the cosmetic firms in Nairobi. i was devastated. i felt that this was the end of the road for me and i cannot remember the many times i went to the altar to cry out my heart.

i kept on asking God why me especially knowing that im a single mother and my daughter depends on me and what about the rent, electricity and all. i went to the altar every day until one day God spoke to me and told me that it is not for us as his children to keep on asking why God. he is not there to answer our questioning all what he has instructed us to do is to completely trust in Him and hold on steadfastly. during that time i happened to remember that all things work for good to them that are in Christ Jesus, i started to see how stressing my boss was and how much work i had in that firm since i doubled up as the procurement officer and started believing that when God closes one door he opens another one.

Do i believe that he opens another door when he closes one? 100% sure. He didn't let me suffer he raised people who assisted me to pay the bill and all that and i have gotten a job even though its not permanent at least i have something to do and i know when this is over he will open another door for me.

as Christians it is wise to let God direct us and rely on him completely. the bible says unless we receive the kingdom of God as small children we will not inherit the kingdom of God. this is because when a child asks the parent for a certain thing they are all sure that the parent is in a position to give it and they don't start asking it from sisters, brothers or uncles. they trust that their parents are better suited to provide the so called thing they want and will not stop asking until they are given. same with us Christians we should know our help comes from the lord and him alone. we shouldn't ask God for a particular thing then start going around from one friend to another asking for them to help this means that we don't trust in Him. unless of course he directs us to ask it from a particular person then we have permission to go to that brethren and even before we reach them the lord will have spoken to them and given them the burden to help you.

when Saul was about looking for lost donkey God had already spoken to Samuel to meet with him and anoint him as the king over Israel. just the same way if we stick to God he will divinely connect us to the people who will usher us into the next level and we will not waste time mourning and questioning why God? why Me

God bless all and may the mind that was in Christ Jesus be in you.

Thanks for posting that Grace. I was just chatting this moment to a friend who has lost her job. Her name is Janet. Could you please pray for her?
I said to her that we need to put ourselves in the way of God's blessings.... right in the middle of Blessing Road... which is in the centre of His will. Then His blessings will overtake us. We might not see them to start with, but they are there... just disguised! And one day, they will be very evident!!

Wow, I am glad I read your comment. I just lost my job Saturday. Thanks Be to God I have a husband who works, but the second income is needed. I felt like God was punishing me, that maybe I did or said something. I don't know, but what I do know is I believe as you do that when one door closes, the Lord opens another. I am so sad and I also feel at the end of the road...I am always afraid ot the bottom falling out. I am always on gaurd. Maybe if I stop being so "gaureded" and trust HIm, things will not fall apart. God Bless you. Julie
