I'm passionate about...
Helping others, and being a blessing.
My story with God
I am a recovering addict. Jesus saved me and brought me to him 8 years ago. God has blessed me all of my life. I just couldn't see my blessings until 8 years ago when he called me so loudly, I heard Him and I have no greater love for anything than I have for Jesus and all that He was, and all that He IS.
Other stuff about me:
I am now struggling with a pain killer addiction. I no longer drink or use drugs, but have been prescribed narcotic medications for two herniated discs in my back, and I am now dependent on them and I feel so powerless. I am ashamed that after 8 years of clean time, I have allowed this to happen. I believe Jesus is going to take this horrible desire away from me, as I have prayed diligently for HIm to do so. Please will you brothers and sisters help me.
Hi Julie007, welcome to AAG. Firstly, do not be ashamed of becoming dependant on your medication, that is something that each and every one of us could be at risk of at any point in our lives. There are positives that can be taken from your situation, you are here looking for fellowship and support, many here have dealt with a number of afflictions and you will be given lots of support, but the biggest positive I have read in your blog is that you believe Jesus can and will help you. I am also praying for you. Speak to you soon.
Welcome to AAG. We want your experience here to be positive and uplifting. There are a couple of things that can help you maximize your experience.
Forums and Blogs: Forums are for asking questions and for sharing a response to a question someone has posted. This is a great opportunity for “iron to sharpen iron.” Blogs are for posting an opinion, view or specific message regarding a subject.
Making New Friends: You will make many new friends here on AAG. Some will send a friend invite to you. You have the choice to accept or decline. When an invite has been sent to you the “My Friends” in the upper right box on your home page will be followed by the word “New”.” Simply click on the icon and make your choice. To invite someone to be your friend you simply need to go to their home page and click on “add as friend” under their personal photo. Once someone is your friend you will be able to email each of your friends on AAG. You can also leave a message on someone personal page, but note that everyone will be able to read what you leave there.
Chat Box: There is a chat box accessible from the bottom of every page here on AAG. It is a great place to get to know people better.
Private Chats: You can invite anyone who is on line to a private chat by clicking on their picture located at the upper right part of the page followed by clicking on “Private Chat.”.
Videos: You can also upload Christian videos on the AAG main page or watch them. They are located down the left side of the main page.
If you have any questions feel free to ask. We are here to serve you to the best of our abilities.

WELCOME TO AAG, JULIE007. here's a joke i got from the AAG forum to welcome and cheer you up-
A woman walks into a butcher's shop just before closing time and asks, "Do you have any turkey?"
The butcher opens his fridge, takes out his only turkey and puts it on the weighing scales. It weighs six pounds.
The woman looks at the turkey and at the scales and asks, "Do you have one that's a bit bigger than this one, please?" The butcher puts the turkey back into the fridge and then takes it out again, but this time when he puts it on the scales he keeps his thumb on the turkey. The scales now show eight pounds.
"That's wonderful," says the woman. "I'll take both of them, please!"
