All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

I believe it must be a pre tribulation rapture.

Because mid-trib or pre-wrath deny's that the entire tribulation is Gods wrath. read Rev 6:15 where everyone hid themselves in caves and tried to hide from the wrath of God! This is in the beginning of the tribulation.

Post Trib there will be no one left to populate the earth during the millennium. The wicked are cast into the lake of fire upon Jesus' return Mathew 13:40-43. Then at the rapture the saints are given immortal bodies 1 Corinthians 15:51-54. Therefore there would be no one to have children and to repopulate the earth.

There are other scriptures as well but these make it pretty clear that it has to be a Pre-Tribulation rapture.

I would love to hear others views on this matter, but it seems fairly clear to me.

Is my logic faulty, please show me if I am in correct!

Hi George,

I'm studying this right now.

I agree with you.

Scriptures seem to support the Pre-Trib view.

I wish I could go into detail about it now... busy summer days, but would love to revisit this in about a month.   My group is  taking a break from the study over the summer months.

Blessings, Carla

Thanks would love too hear from you later, check out my website www.justforjesus.net I do posts on end time prophesy I believe time is getting really short. Jesus spoke in parable to get people to think why do people want to deny a rapture because it is not stated point blank. You have to study and think and you will find it has to be that way! I pointed out in my article that there is no other way it can happen. Anyway thanks for the feedback.

No, I don't believe in a pre-trib rapture.  In the Bible it states that when the LORD comes back and the trumphet blows, every knee shall bow, even those of the unbelievers and the dead will rise and then we will be judged.  No two part theory....you have no second chance.  Like the Ark, the door will be shut.

I think you got your scriptures mixed up. All will bow before the Lord but not at his second coming? Read John 14 and compare it to 1 Thessalonians 4 You will see they both speak of the rapture! God is love he gives us every chance he can until we die.

No...I don't believe I do, I think that this is a dangerous teaching to be quite honest.  We are to be prepared, oil in our lamps.  God hasn't changed, He is always, has always given us love and grace and mercy.  One time only, just as the Ark and the door will be closed.

Question - Do you believe in a rapture at all? If so please explain who is left to populate the earth if it happens at his second coming?

I believe in the 2nd coming of the LORD.  No, I do not believe in a rapture where people are taken off of the earth....like the "left behind" books.  There will be no debate, no second chances, this is a life choice.   The gates narrow....There is only one judgment....People that are dead are called asleep in the Bible, they will arise first.  Those that are still alive will rise into the air, but they will be judged as well.  The goats and the sheep, the believers and non believers, the sinners and the saints, etc., etc, etc.

Also, there is no talk about us actually "going to heaven,"  Heaven will be here on earth, it will be brought down to earth.

Uuuummm why do we need to populate the earth?

Read revelation Satan is bound for 1000 years and the saints will reign on earth with Jesus, Then Satan is released and gathers the wicked, they are as the sand of the sea and they are destroyed. There has to be people here for him to gather!!!!!!!! There fore at the second coming some one has to be mortal but your way there is none! How does that work? Yes we will be here on earth for eternity! But John 14 Jesus says I will come for you that where I am you may be also. Thus at some point we are going to heaven, I believe this is the rapture of the church.

Sorry, I don't believe in the rapture.....the Bible does not speak of this....It does speak of the  2nd coming....but nothing about anyone going to heaven.   If you read the Bible, heaven comes down to Earth.  And anyone that has died, has gone anywhere, they are asleep, i.e. they are unconsious.....until the Lord awakens them.

The Bible speaks of the Lord's 2nd coming, but it never speaks about a secret rapture, ever.

Though I don't get into end times much, because no one really knows for sure, all speculation. You said that we weren't going anywhere, but what I am reading in the following passage, looks like our feet will be leaving the earth , at least for a time, we are going to meet the Lord in the air, or clouds.1 Thessalonians 4:17 (KJV)
17  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. I know God has it in complete control so I don't worry about it.

also I find these scriptures.

Titus 3:9 (KJV)
9  But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
2 Timothy 2:23 (KJV)
23  But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.
