You have heard of the spirit of Jezebell....thats all wrong
This spirit of alleged Jezebell is all wrong...we seem to forget what exactly happened in the garden which put mankind in the bind with God in the first place.
It was Eves thirst for knowlege, to be like God intriqued her....that is still prevelant today with the competition between the sexes as its put. There is a constant disruption of Gods order of things.....its as Eve has to be smarter better than who was created in God's image and then taken from his side. Lets be honest we dont like to be called wrong.....but its all about self....its been the same since the garden what has changed??...we arent puppets made of wood.....we have to be honest...Love justice, seek mercy , walk humbly with your God. Trying to modernise Gods plan to be trendy is dangerous if not deadly....dont play games be who God created... read the scriptures....act and live the way they direct..its sure not like the stuff comming out of colleges now adays...so choose who ye shall believe and follow.

I wrote this paper about Jezebel. I'll have to look for it. I believe the translation I found for Jezebel was one who loves Baal or who is in bed with Baal. I questioned if Jezebel was actually the spirit's name or is it Baal.
A spirit of python merits consideration. Think about how the snake squeezes the life out of its prey. It's very disruptive and has a tongue like barbed wire too. Ferocious mouth. Sometimes words can be very cutting. Paul encountered this spirit. A young woman brought much gain to her employers. I believe she was some sort of prophetess. The Book of Acts says Paul was grieved. She followed Paul around saying these men are the great power of God. Knowing this spirit's tongue and what it's like, IMO the spirit in the young woman was jeering at Paul and disrupting. Anything to obstruct Paul's outreach. I've also heard that she was very religious so that's why she followed them around. That's for other's to decide. I can only relate what my experiences were like.

The experiences I've had with python. The host person cleared her throat all through fellowship. If you are trying to focus on the Word being taught, the constant "ahems" are disruptive. It says Paul was grieved. Granted, people can be sick too. In this instance, it was that spirit. When I confronted the spirit, it was vicious, lots of foul language (a sordid spirit will have foul language too) and name calling. It may try to get a believer to doubt who they are in Christ Jesus. You have to know what you're doing and rely on what God tells you. I wouldn't believe what a spirit told me unless God confirmed that it's the truth. If a spirit's lips are moving, it's lying. God's in control and it's all about God's timetable not the spirit's timetable. Casting out a spirit is contending for that person. The goal is to glorify God and command the spirit to leave and the host to be set free in the name of Jesus Christ. When a spirit is cast out, it's evidence of Jesus Christ's accomplishments. Hallelujah! It forces a spirit to see it's utter defeat. I think of it like rubbing their face in a dirty diaper. After the fireworks are over, have you ever gone to the Lord's throne and talked to Him about it? My Lord, the spirit was humiliated in your name. Something to think about.
Another instance, this person was yelling hallelujah during service. The preacher couldn't get a word in. I could tell the preacher was trying to figure out what to do. He was grieved. I turned around and told the spirit to stop in Jesus Christ's name. The spirit fled. After service preacher asked me what I did. He knew something happened.

I'm confused as to what is wrong about the "alleged" spirit of Jezebel? Is the Bible wrong? Are people interpreting it wrong? What exactly are you saying?

Gen. 3:6 - And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
Yes, it began in the garden of Eden...Eve was the one to fall for the "surely you shall not die", but I have often been thinking.... Sometimes it's a very good thing to tell one another of the sin that they may be ready to commit. Adam if you will note "was with her; and he did eat."
Silence is not always golden, is it?

Answer:There is a variety of opinions about what constitutes a Jezebel spirit, everything from sexual looseness in a woman to the teaching of false doctrine—by a man or a woman. The Bible does not mention a Jezebel spirit, although it has plenty to say about Jezebel herself.
Jezebel’s story is found in 1 and 2 Kings. She was the daughter of Ethbaal, king of Tyre/Sidon and priest of the cult of Baal, a cruel, sensuous and revolting false god whose worship involved sexual degradation and lewdness. Ahab, king of Israel, married Jezebel and led the nation into Baal worship (1 Kings 16:31). Ahab and Jezebel’s reign over Israel is one of the saddest chapters in the history of God’s people.
There are two incidents in the life of Jezebel which characterize her and may define what is meant by the Jezebel spirit. One trait is her obsessive passion for domineering and controlling others, especially in the spiritual realm. When she became queen, she began a relentless campaign to rid Israel of all evidences of Jehovah worship. She ordered the extermination of all the prophets of the Lord (1 Kings 18:4,13) and replaced their altars with those of Baal. Her strongest enemy was Elijah, who demanded a contest on Mount Carmel between the powers of Israel’s God and the powers of Jezebel and the priests of Baal (1 Kings 18). Of course, Jehovah won, but despite hearing of the miraculous powers of Jehovah, Jezebel refused to repent and swore on her gods that she would pursue Elijah relentlessly and take his life. Her stubborn refusal to see and submit to the power of the living God would lead her to a hideous end (2 Kings 9:29-37).
The second incident involves a righteous man named Naboth who refused to sell to Ahab land adjoining the palace, rightly declaring that to sell his inheritance would be against the Lord’s command (1 Kings 21:3;Leviticus 25:23). While Ahab sulked and fumed on his bed, Jezebel taunted and ridiculed him for his weakness, then proceeded to have the innocent Naboth framed and stoned to death. Naboth’s sons were also stoned to death, so there would be no heirs, and the land would revert to the possession of the king. Such a single-minded determination to have one’s way, no matter who is destroyed in the process, is a characteristic of the Jezebel spirit.
So infamous was Jezebel’s sexual immorality and idol worship that the Lord Jesus Himself refers to her in a warning to the church at Thyatira (Revelation 2:18-29). Most likely referring to a woman in the church who influenced it the same way Jezebel influenced Israel into idolatry and sexual immorality, Jesus declares to the Thyatirans that she is not to be tolerated. Whoever this woman was, like Jezebel, she refused to repent of her immorality and her false teaching, and her fate was sealed. The Lord Jesus cast her onto a sick bed, along with those who committed idolatry with her. The end for those who succumb to a Jezebel spirit is always death and destruction, both in the physical and the spiritual sense.
Perhaps the best way to define the Jezebel spirit is to say it characterizes anyone who acts in the same manner as Jezebel did, engaging in immorality, idolatry, false teaching and unrepentant sin. To go beyond that is to engage in conjecture and can possibly lead to false accusations and divisiveness within the body of Christ.

My pastor preached on this once. And this is how he described a Jezebel spirit...a spirit that stirs up contention, is proud and boastful, controlling, and seeks to divide.
