Are you having a hard time spending time with the Lord?

Do you sometimes find it difficult to motivate yourself to spend time with the Lord? When we think about that, it really doesn't make sense. God has all the power and all the wisdom that we could ever need. Why do we go and ask other people what to do about a situation when we should be asking the one who knows everything. I think some of it is because when we talk to another person, they are right in front of us. We can see them, hear them, and touch them. It doesn't take any faith to talk… Continue

The Power of Your Words.

Have you ever really listened to the words you speak? When I was first learning how important my thoughts and words were to my life, I started listening to what I was speaking. At the time I was working on my thoughts trying not to allow any negative ones in my mind, but while I was working on that I started noticing all the negative things I was speaking.

The words didn't seem like much, but as I kept track it really accumulated. They were just small things like "traffic is going…

We ALL have Foot-in-Mouth Disease!!

According to James, no person can tame the tongue. We have to admit that so often our tongues get us in trouble. We think, after it's too late, "I shouldn't have said that!!"

So, for us, our trying is futile!!! But I think we all need to come to that point of realizing how corrupt we are. And really, the tongue is not what is the problem. As Jesus said, it is out of the abundance of the heart that our mouths speak. (See Matt 12:33-37) So we need to get to the heart of the… Continue

Please God, Live in my Heart!

On the day after Christmas of 2008 I was in my office working on teachings for the prophetic for my web site concerning the gifts of the Holy Spirit. As I completed the work I was meditating on the wonderful gift of God. I was thinking of how that the Spirit of God in the Greek is “pneuma” which means “breath” The Spirit of God is the breath of God. God is an eternal being and He continues to breathe His Spirit of life into our lives on a daily basis. To be baptized in the Spirit of God is a… Continue

These are the days of Elijah...

I am absolutely blown away by the fact that I am living in these days. I have watched prophecy fulfill for years, but now--as the Lord Jesus said it would--things are quickly coming to a climax. The "birth pangs" are coming faster and harder every day. If only unbelievers would pick up their Bibles and read it as they read their daily newspaper or watch the news on television! Wars, rumors of wars, economic crises, catastrophic weather, ethnic unrest and nation against nation. And in the… Continue

Repent or Perish

Repent - (The School of Hard Nots - 3)

(LUKE 5:32) > I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance [KJ]

(LUKE 13:5) > I tell you, No; but unless you repent ([change your mind for the better and heartily amend your ways, with abhorrence of your past sins), you will all likewise perish and be lost eternally [Amplified]]

(ACTS 3:13) > Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the… Continue

LOVING HIS APPEARING

I'm not a "date setter." The Bible does not give us license to do that. Jesus said that no one knew the day or hour of His return--not even the angels in heaven--only the Father. BUT--He did tell us to watch. He told us that we would know His return was near by the "signs of the times."

Israel is the place to watch. The Jews are still God's Chosen People. He has not--He will not forget them. The Bible speaks of the turmoil Israel and all… Continue

Open minds and open hearts can change the world.

There are so may lost people out there who are crying for help and support through Christ our Lord. Most do not know how to pray, to ask for help. I am a prayer servant for a woman who is struggling with many hardships. I am praying for her and her family and I hope all will pray for me to help her succeed in solving her trials and tribulations thru Christ. If I can help just one person, God has endured. I hope to help thousands. I know this is a great number but I have alwasy been one to shoot… Continue

Why does Jesus have to be the Son of God?

I was reading something online recently in which a respondent asked the question, "Why does Jesus have to be the Son of God?" They went on to wonder why couldn't He just be a nice guy with wise sayings who loved people. Well.

In the Garden of Eden, the first blood was shed to cover sin. God killed an animal to clothe Adam and Eve after they disobeyed Him and heeded Satan's call to eat the forbidden fruit, and were naked in their sin… Continue

Step Into the Light

THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD

John 3:16-30 [The Message]

16-18 "This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn't go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust… Continue

"When Jesus steps out on a cloud to call His children!"

"The Midnight Cry"

The time is very near when Jesus will step out on a cloud to call His children...and we'll be going HOME! Please watch this video. It's TRUTH. This is the incredible Michael English and the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. I, too, sing this song. Michael English is my role model for it, and my longing for that soon-coming "Cry" is my… Continue

Jesus Can Heal us From Anger - Luke 13:10-13,16

In this scripture, Luke tells us of a woman who had been crippled for 18 years. Satan had been keeping her in “bondage” and because of this, she had been unable to stand up straight. But Jesus freed her… He healed her.Bible Reading

Perhaps this woman had held on to deep resentment and bitterness towards someone for a long, long time. Satan could have been telling her over the years that she should not forgive someone that hurt her. He could have told her that she was fully justified… Continue

Satan tempts Jesus

Matthew 4:3-10.As you read these scriptures you will see that Jesus response to all three temptaions was to quote the Word of God, Which is to show us His Followers the power of scripture in battling the the evil one(see Deut. 6:13;8:3; Ps. 91:11,12). There was nothing morally wrong with turning stones to bread; Satan was tempting Jesus to do a miracle outside of the Father's will. This explains why Jesus quotes Deut. 8:3. Bread alone does not sustain… Continue

Does God Answer our Prayer?

Does God Answer our prayer?

God tells us to give our concerns to him. Even as the situation remains dismal, "Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you."12 The circumstances may look out of control, but they aren't. When the whole world seems to be falling apart, God can keep us together. This is when a person can be very grateful that they know God. "The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests… Continue
