My story with God
My Testimony

In 1986 while strung out on a number of drugs and alcohol I found myself in a miserable situation that I wanted desperately to change. I did not have a clue as to how that change could occur. My understanding of God was that we were on our own and it was completely up to us to keep ourselves from sin and being someone who was overcome by sin I felt that I did not have a chance at all to make it in life. I woke up in the morning and shot up heroin, smoked a joint and had a beer and started looking for the next party! Drugs, sex and rock-n-roll was about all my life amounted to. I was so strung out on drugs that I could not function without them. It was the way I survived. I remember the times I would be out of heroin and would lay in the floor shaking, sweating, freezing and vomiting and would say the words “Oh God, who is going to help me now?” You see in my understanding of God He could not and would not help me out of my situation. I got myself into it and I would have to get myself out of it. Praise God that is such a lie!!

When I reached the age of 21 I was faced with a few major obstacles. My father had been struggling with cancer and was dying and I had just found out that my liver was in pretty bad shape. I had been drinking since the age of eight and using drugs intravenously about 7 or 8 times a day for about 4 yrs. I had tracks up and down both arms and had noticed that when I injected drugs into my system my blood was thick and purple looking. I was taking a lot of ecstasy and dropping acid on the weekends as well as shooting and smoking meth. To say the least; I was a major drug addict! My father was at the stage of his cancer where they knew he could die at any moment and the family was taking turns going up and staying the night with him. On the night that I was to go up I heard Gods voice for the first time.

On the morning I was to stay the night with my father I got up and began to start my usual abuse routine when I heard a voice inside of me say “this will be your fathers last day on earth”. I heard it loud and clear and knew immediately who was speaking to me. I had just opened a can of beer and lit a joint and thought to myself; for the first time in a long time I need to be sober for my dad. So, I poured the beer out and put the joint away and stayed as straight as I possibly could. That night about 3:00 am in the morning as I was sitting by my father’s bed when the whole atmosphere of the room changed, my father who was having difficulty breathing began breathing normal. I stood up and walked to the foot of his bed because I knew something was happening and then I heard the voice of God again say to me “I have come to take your father home with me and all his pain and suffering will end this night”. After I heard those words spoken my father went to be with the Lord and looked as if he just went to sleep.

About a month later someone told me of the love of Jesus and how he died on the cross for my sins and that I could be forgiven for all I had done. At home in the bedroom all to myself I got down on my knees and asked God if he could forgive me and if so I needed Him. The power of God fell in that room and all the weight and addiction were lifted off of me. I got up and began to praise God and immediately started praying for all my friends. It took me a while to calm down but when I did I sat down on my couch and I still am not sure what happened but the next thing I knew I was in the arm of Jesus and He was weeping over me. He told me that He had waited so long for the moment I would come to Him. He told me that as long as I did what He asked and followed Him that no one would ever be able to take me from His hands and He would never let any harm come to me. Since then I have had many ups and downs but God has been faithful to me every step of the way.

1 Samuel 4:21-22 21And she named the child Ichabod, saying, The glory is departed from Israel: because the ark of God was taken, and because of her father in law and her husband. 22And she said, the glory is departed from Israel: for the ark of God is taken. (KJV)

This was a sad day for the nation of Israel. The ark represented the presence of God in their midst. It was the focal point of His being with them in authority, government, power and glory. Unfortunately because of the sins… Continue

On the day after Christmas of 2008 I was in my office working on teachings for the prophetic for my web site concerning the gifts of the Holy Spirit. As I completed the work I was meditating on the wonderful gift of God. I was thinking of how that the Spirit of God in the Greek is “pneuma” which means “breath” The Spirit of God is the breath of God. God is an eternal being and He continues to breathe His Spirit of life into our lives on a daily basis. To be baptized in the Spirit of God is a… Continue

Hard Pressed!

As people of faith our present circumstance does not predict the outcome of our faith. In fact it is our faith that will move us from places of spiritual confinement into the freedom of greater revelation and true liberation from our enemies and/or difficult situations. In the book of Acts Peter found himself in a very difficult and restrictive place while preaching the gospel of Christ.

Acts 12:3-11 3When Herod saw how much this pleased the Jewish leaders, he arrested Peter during… Continue

The Work of the Holy Spirit

In the book of 1Kings 21:1-16 (read) we find a very interesting story where Naboth has a vineyard that is close to the palace of King Ahab the husband of Jezebel. Ahab approached Naboth and asked him for his vineyard because of its location and because he saw that it was a good vineyard. It was a vineyard that produced and he wanted it.

1. I Kings 21:2-3 2And Ahab spake unto Naboth, saying, Give me thy vineyard, that I may have it for a garden of herbs, because it is near unto my… Continue

We are told that Christ was killed for us, that His death has washed out our sins, and that by dying He disabled death itself. ... That is Christianity. That is what has to be believed.
be blessed

New Heart, New life,& Renewing mind ….

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and
Renew a steadfast spirit within me. Psalm 51:10
Make a new heart in me, My God! Create it out of Your Pureness! (2 Cor. 5:17) Make my heart brand new so that it is totally pure and without anything bad. Dear God, make a new and faithful spirit inside of me. Give me Your Holy Spirit that I may be faithful to you in all things!! (John 3:1-21) Have my heart stick to you no matter what comes my way!!

Welcome to AAG. We want your experience here to be positive and uplifting. There are a couple of things that can help you maximize your experience.

Forums and Blogs: Forums are for asking questions and for sharing a response to a question someone has posted. This is a great opportunity for “iron to sharpen iron.” Blogs are for posting an opinion, view or specific message regarding a subject.

Making New Friends: You will make many new friends here on AAG. Some will send a friend invite to you. You have the choice to accept or decline. When an invite has been sent to you the “My Friends” the upper right box on your home page will be followed by the word “New”.” Simply click on the icon and make your choice. To invite someone to be your friend you simply need to go to their home page and click on “add as friend” under their personal photo. Once someone is your friend you will be able to email each of your friends on AAG. You can also leave a message on someone personal page, but note that everyone will be able to read what you leave there.

IMs: You can IM anyone who is on line by clicking on their picture located at the upper right part of the page.

Chat Room: There is a chat room located near the top of the AAG main page. It is a great place to get to know people better.

Videos: You can also upload Christian videos on the AAG main page or watch them. They are located down the left side of the main page.

If you have any questions feel free to ask. We are here to serve you to the best of our abilities.
