The Power of your Decision

Your decision today will determine where you will be tomorrow. Your thought controls your decision, your decision controls your character, and your character influences your DESTINATION.

"For as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he!"

When i was a child and my friends and i wanted to choose who would play on our team during a particular game, or who would go first in a particular activity, we would point to each person as we chant a rhyme. When the rhyme ends, whoever… Continue

TODAY

Today is a gift from God, treasure it. It is the only time in your hand. John Ruskin had on his desk a paper-weight. carved on it was one word: Today."This is the day which the Lord has made; rejoice and be glad in it," sang King David, thus uttering words which summarise the best philosophy of Life. Life has an abundance to give us and all that can be ours on condition that we start living today, or living for today; that we give our entire attention to the work on hand, to the family,… Continue

Seeing is Believing

Acts 3.1-10 Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. And a man lame from birth was being carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple that is called the Beautiful Gate to ask alms of those entering the temple. Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked to receive alms. And Peter directed his gaze at him, as did John, and said, "Look at us." And he fixed his attention on them, expecting to receive something from them. But… Continue

Building Blocks

Acts 2.42-47 They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, and to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere… Continue

Morality.

Morality;

The quality of an action which renders it good; the conformity of an act to the divine law, or to the principles of rectitude. This conformity implies that the act must be performed by a free agent, and from a motive of obedience to the divine will. This is the strict theological and scriptural sense of morality.

Morality cannot be forced on any one, this is contrary to scripture. Mankind has a choice, to live a moral life, or to ignore just, and moral ways, to become… Continue

ZPG and THE CULTURAL MANDATE

From My Perspective - - -

We all have some knowledge of History (for all too many, it is a scant knowledge). We are also familiar with the phrase: “Those who forget (or ignore) History are doomed to repeat it.” It is both important and significant when a current Historian - David Kaiser – shares some of his concerns and observations. David Kaiser is a professor in the Strategy and Policy Department of the United States Naval War College and has previously taught...Harvard…

In a boat.......

Today's sermon was everything but boring! Paster Ken preached form the inside of a small boat!

The hole point he was giving use went back to the disciple in the middle of The Sea of Galilee, Where Jesus asked Peter to trust him and step out of the boat. Peter was the only one to put his trust in the Lord.

The point was, A great manny of us say we are followers of Christ but yet we wont leave our comfort zone (our boat) We should surrender ourself to the Lord for he will comfort… Continue

The Significance of Jesus Christ.

The Significance of Jesus Christ.

As the breakaway Presbyterian Churches accept homosexuality as a good life style, they are also considering the Significance of Jesus Christ and His word.

As far as prophecy goes, is this significant, or a look into the future of all churches?

This is not a message about homosexuality, but rather a study on the end of the righteousness of many churches.

First we must ask ourselves a few questions and find… Continue

Peter. . . He was full of it

Good Morning.

May I direct our attention back to Acts 2? Go ahead--picture the 120 gathered together, and filled with the Spirit--they begin to speak in unknown languages--unknown to them but not to the Jewish pilgrims who had traveled to Jerusalem to observe Pentecost. A crowd gathers and hears the good news of the Gospel told in their own tongue--nothing short of amazing. Some, however, accuse the messengers of being drunk. Peter will not stand for that! Please open your Bibles,… Continue

HARD TIMES

Its hard to get up everytime we get pushed down,

all we can do is try, and push ourselfs to the limit,

and take a stand in what we belive is right,

to fight as a team is great, but sometimes we must stand alone,

aginst all fears, and all others that stand in our way,

if I were to die and go home today,

I would know I tryed my best in life,

I had fun, I laughed, I cryed, I loved and then lost,

life is short we must forgive thoese who have pushed us… Continue
