I am going to try and read a couple of books from the pro-abortion perspective. One is about a woman who tries to justify why she became an abortionist. The other is about the so-called "terrorist" actions by those of us who abhor the killing of babies. I can only read a few pages before I have to put the books down. But I will try and finish them so I can maybe understand how the enemy works.
No, I will not reveal the titles of the books because I don't want to promote them.

This past week was a difficult one for the Body of Christ here in my area of the world. A man who was a devoted Christian who was 49 was killed in a motorcycle accident avoiding a moose. I did not know him, but his son who is 15 is part of my Wednesday night prayer group. This young man got up in front of over 100s of people and shared his heart, and his faith and trust in the Lord along with his 22 year old sister who was the one who prayed him…

From My Perspective - - -
Language is a vital tool for communicating accurately and clearly with one another. However, it does seem as though some use language to either blur or obfuscate (to make so confused or opaque as to be difficult to perceive or understand; to render indistinct or dim; darken). This can be illustrated by the “mice print” in contracts. It takes considerable magnification to be discernible and/or readable. The reality is that most do not take the time, or… Continue

It is hard enough to be a good father in the society. It is even more difficult to be a christian Father, Even
though it is hard to do facing the things the world throws at us, it is not impossible. Here are a few tips on being a Christian father.
Give the television a rest and reconnect with the kids. Get to know your kids and what they are up to. You will find playing games and other non-television related activities you will develop a closer personal relationship with your…

Over the past year, I've developed an anxiety (again) in the car, whether it's driving or riding. I had this once before in my life during college, when I was in a dating relationship that wasn't healthy. I was a believer then and am now. I went through counseling then for anxiety and depression and for healing from past hurts in my childhood life that I was remembering and coming to terms with. I had been free from anxiety for over 2 years. Around Christmastime, and after being married last…

As I was looking at all the beautiful and interesting blogs I never saw the word "grace". Grace... Amazing grace, what a song. Just to listen to it makes me cry and the story behind it is even more inspirinig. Grace....I am reading about grace...Standing In Grace, walking in Grace, falling from Grace, saved by Grace, working in Grace, sufficient Grace, and continuing in Grace...All of which was done on the Cross. THAT'S FOR SURE! NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!!! However, there are so many "graceless…

HOW COME AMERICA?
We brake for animals
We save the seals and
Protect the whales
We declare some birds endangered species
We even recycle to save the Earth
But we MURDER our unborn children?

A great gap appears in the otherwise consistent opinions of the left about preserving life.
These opinions are:
Anti-nuclear war
Anti-capital punishment
Anti-environmental…

Let me start by telling you about my childhood.I was abused in every way by my Dad. I can remember it from the time I was 6 til I was 12. I can remember at age 6 him being arrested for it but, when it was time to go to court they did nothing.I can remember swearing to tell the truth on the Bible. I also remember how my neighbors was suppose to be Christians and did nothing when they saw my Dad beating us with his fist but just turn their backs. They never once called the police or tried to…

R.C Sproul, Abortion: a Rational Look at an Emotional Issue, 1990, Colorado Springs, Colo.: Navpress.
The Roe v. Wade decision has provoked the most serious ethical crisis in the history of the United States. This is the nadir in American jurisprudence, the moment of the state's greatest failure to be a state. (pp. 91-2)
Resistance to unjust laws and dehumanizing practices may be costly. Those who resisted Hitler's policy of genocide in Germany often paid with their…

Good Day! Did you have a chance to read about the gift of encouragement yesterday? It is the gift that keeps on giving, you know. . . did you make a conscious effort to encourage someone? I pray so.
And, hey--are you thinking 'you have no idea, I'm the one that needs the encouragement right now, sister'? Well, when you get out of your own head, and encourage someone else... guess what? It brings some satisfaction your way; in fact, Proverbs 11 says that, "he who refreshes others will…

Dred Scott v. Sandford (1857), was a decision by the United States Supreme Court that ruled that people of African descent imported into the United States and held as slaves, or their descendants—whether or not they were slaves—were not protected by the Constitution and could never be citizens of the United States. It also held that the United States Congress had no authority to prohibit slavery in federal territories. The Court also ruled that because slaves were not citizens, they could not…

An article authored by a co-author of the Wrath of Angels (1998), Judy Thomas (formerly with the Wichita Eagle), is drumming for the feds to
criminalize the speech of anti-abortionists who cannot and will not deny that the child in the womb is worthy of the defensive action (protection by force) and that any citizen has the right to take such action.
Read the propaganda and the hate speech fulminating from Tiller's fellow late-term…

I speak for the 4,000 unborn babies who have no voice.
For the 4,000 unborn children whose lives will be snuffed out today,
Tomorrow,
And the next day.
It matters not to me if you agree or disagree.
God is my judge.
Not you.

The following is a press released from Eileen Smith, whose daughter was killed by an abortionist in 2007. At that time, the local papers would not even print Laura's obituary. With Operation Rescue's help, Eileen has worked to bring her daughter's killer, Rapin Osathanondh, to justice. He goes to trial an manslaughter charges in September. Osathanondh has already surrendered his medical license and closed his two abortion clinics.

Abortion has become a "back burner" issue. People are concerned about their jobs, the economy, health care, terrorism, the war in Iraq and Afghanistan and other issues. I understand that. My wife has been out of a job for over a year. I understand. And we have an administration in Washington that seems to me to be making things worse.
So why should anyone care about abortion? Because it is NOT just another issue. Babies are being murdered. 4,000 a day.
When people tell me…

A STEADFAST CONFIDENT HEART
“Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.” ( Psalm 51:10 )
“My heart is confident, O God. My heart is confident. I want to sing and make music.” ( Psalm 57: 7)
“He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.” ( Psalm112:7 )
When our heart is fixed and steadfast, it is then that we have set our hearts…

Acts 11:19-30 Meanwhile, the believers who had been scattered during the persecution after Stephen’s death traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch of Syria. They preached the word of God, but only to Jews. However, some of the believers who went to Antioch from Cyprus and Cyrene began preaching to the Gentiles about the Lord Jesus. The power of the Lord was with them, and a large number of these Gentiles believed and turned to the Lord. When the church at Jerusalem heard what had…

Pro-choice groups:
Liberal and some mainline denominations: In general, these either promote a woman's right to choose an abortion, or are relatively silent on the matter. A number of liberal and mainline Christian and Jewish faith groups and organizations have publicly stated that abortions are sometimes an acceptable option, and should remain legal. According to lists prepared by The Secular Web and the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, they include, in alphabetic…

It was Albert Einstein who said that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Killing children has been legal in this country for 36 years, since 1973. 50 million children have been slaughtered in the aborton mills. We keep doing the same thing over and over and nothing changes.
In the early 1990s we used direct action to try and stop the killing and for awhile I believe we were winning. The pro-aborts and the killers were scared of us.…
