IF YOUR A MOTHER

Mother's Day

This is for the mothers who have sat up all night with sick toddlers in their arms, wiping up barf laced with Oscar Mayer wieners and cherry Kool-Aid saying,

‘It's okay honey, Mommy's here.’

Who have sat in rocking chairs for hours on end soothing crying babies who can't be comforted.

This is for all…

Faith and Love for God

1John 5:

1 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Messiah is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his

child as well. 2 This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands.

3 In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, 4 for everyone born of

God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes

the… Continue

Ye Believe in God!

Ye Believe in God!

Faith.

Belief; the assent of the mind to the truth of what is declared by another, resting on his authority and veracity, without other evidence; the judgment that what another states or testifies is the truth.

We, who believe in God, have no need of physical proof, for His Spirit dwells within us. We see things that others can not see, hear things that others can not hear, and speak things that can only come from the Holy Spirit of… Continue

Baptism

One of the interesting things about Philip''s visit to Samaria is the fact that altough the Samaritans had been baptized in the namr of Jesus they still had not received the Holy Spirit.

There was a separation of water baptism and Spirit baptism (Acts 8:16-17).

Two other occasions mentioned in Acts report separate water and Spirit baptisms. One is the case of Cornelius (Acts 10:44-48) and the other is that of disciples in Ephesus (Acts 19:1-7). All the other baptisms make… Continue

So that you may know

Today's Bible Passage: Acts 4:1-22 Notice with me the power of the Gospel~

1The priests and the captain of the temple guard and the Sadducees came up to Peter and John while they were speaking to the people. 2They were greatly disturbed because the apostles were teaching the people and proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection of the dead. 3They seized Peter and John, and because it was evening, they put them in jail until the next day.4But many who heard the message believed, and the number… Continue

HE IS THE GOD OF TODAY

HE IS THE GOD OF TODAY

"This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it." ( Psalm 118:12 )

" He again fixes a certain day, "Today," saying through David after so long a time just as has been said before, "TODAY IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE, DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS."

DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS AS WHEN THEY PROVOKED ME, AS IN THE DAY OF TRIAL IN THE WILDERNESS."

Good Morning.

Did you see it? Did you see it again in today's passage? Peter trying to set the record straight. Last time, he was saying, 'No, these people are not drunk--they are filled with the Holy Spirit! Listen to them. . . they are speaking to you, in your own language, telling you about the great things God… Continue

To whom Am I Giving Glory?.... To God or To Myself? Time to check our Spirit….

To whom Am I Giving Glory?.... To God or To Myself?

Time to check our Spirit….

What is your purpose of doing such things right now? Are these words we often quoted: “ I just want to please God”. “I want God to look with favor on my life” “I do not want to cause God any pain.” “I want to help God.” “I want to be the type of child in which the Father takes great pride”. The above passage is very convicting, for it makes one think, on a daily and weekly basis, how often do I think…

The days go so fast and months. Now I am walking and enjoying the outside. To being boating soon, swimming. I must take advantage of what God has given us.

My love to all.

PRAYER AND THE PRESIDENT

From My Perspective - - -

The Associated Press reported yesterday: “OBAMA PLANS A SCALED BACK NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER. The White House is planning a muted observance of Thursday's National Day of Prayer, a response that has disappointed both Christian conservatives and an atheist group that wants to end the tradition. Congress established the day in 1952 and in 1988 set the first Thursday in May as the day for presidents to issue proclamations asking Americans to pray. White House…

Un-loving, Un-kind Christians.

I used to be a part of Hoxton Park Anglican church and was tough to attack Catholics, The nation of Islam and non-Christians, I was blinded to see I was being un-loving to my family.

When I was asked a question on money and the church so I could have explained it to an non-Christian, I also said a few things on facebook why do people use the Bible and God’s name in vain I was blasted because for (a) I’m not a Christian for asking such questions and (b) I was condemned for saying by… Continue
