I'm here to...
Share the love of God with other people.
Interests:
I spend my time reading the Bible and practicing my trumpet.
I'm passionate about...
My relationship with Christ and sharing God's word with others.
My story with God
I remember feeling disappointed with myself. I couldn't seem to find a reason for living my life. I was so unhappy with the person I had become and I couldn't seem to find a way to change me. But God knew my heart was sick. He brought me to live in Idaho with my Aunt and Uncle, I started going to their church where I could hear the Gospel preached. One day I came under conviction where I knew I was not saved and I needed Christ in my heart. I had a meeting with my pastor and he explained God's plan of salvation to me, and that night I invited Christ into my heart.
Other stuff about me:
I like riding my bike, and hiking Tubb's hill.

"Set the sail!"

".... whatsoever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them." (Mark 11:24)

When we ask God for something that we know is in His will, we must also be ready to receive the answer.

When Hudson Taylor went to China, he made the voyage on a sailing ship. As it neared the channel between the southern Malat peninsula and the island of Sumatra, the missionary heard an urgent knock on his stateroom door. He opened it, and there stood the captain… Continue

I have a book called the The School of Biblical Evangelism, published by Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron. I love Ray's stories about sharing the gospel and his wittiness. I'm still not a good studier but I want to learn more... to communicate like he does. he makes me want to be better at things like listening to other people, and talking to other people, and caring about other people. Oh, I do have my bible to read that gives me the insight I need but it doesn't stick with me for as long as it… Continue

Argh I feel so stuck right now, so cut off from God, or the work of the Holy Spirit.

There was a time, I was feeling great, just singing praise to him and worship came so natural every day...

Something is wrong...

I want to serve him, to work for him, to give my life to him because he died for me.

Everyone is dying of something, I want to die for him!

I know, I have got to die to self, and surrender to His… Continue

I just have to take a moment thank God this morning... last night I was invited over to a friend's house to play the trumpet with him and a friend of his, it was a great time. It was so great just to play trumpet with some real musicians
it was a totally new experience, and I'm just so excited now about what God is doing in my life.

devil and the duck

There was a little boy visiting his grandparents on their farm.He was given a slingshot to play with out in the woods.

He practiced in the woods; but he could never hit the target.

Getting a little discouraged, he headed back for dinner.

As he was walking back he saw Grandma's pet duck.Just out of impulse, he let the slingshot fly, hit the duck square in the head and killed it. He was shocked and grieved!

In a panic, he hid the dead duck in the wood pile; only to see his Sister watching! Sally had seen it all, but she said nothing. After lunch the next day Grandma said, 'Sally, let's wash the dishes'

But Sally said, 'Grandma, Johnny told me he wanted to help in the kitchen.'

Then she whispered to him, "Remember the duck?'

So Johnny did the dishes.

Later that day, Grandpa asked if the children wanted to go fishing and Grandma said, 'I'm sorry but I need Sally to help make supper.'

Sally just smiled and said, 'well that's all right because Johnny told me he wanted to help?

She whispered again, 'Remember the duck?' So Sally went fishing and Johnny stayed to help. After several days of Johnny doing both his chores and Sally's; he finally couldn't stand it any longer.

He came to Grandma and confessed that he had killed the duck.

Grandma knelt down, gave him a hug and said, 'Sweetheart, I know. You see, I was standing at the window and I saw the whole thing, but because I love you, I forgave you. I was just wondering how long you would let Sally make a slave of you.'
Thought for the day and every day thereafter:

Whatever is in your past, whatever you have done... And the devil keeps throwing it up in your face (lying, cheating, debt, fear, bad habits, hatred, anger, bitterness, etc.)...whatever it is...You need to know that:
God was standing at the window and He saw the whole thing. He has seen your whole life... He wants you to know that He loves you and that you are forgiven. He's just wondering how long you will let the devil make a slave of you.

The great thing about God is that when you ask for forgiveness; He not only forgives you, but He forgets.

It is by God's grace and mercy that we are saved.
