Jesus Christ exclaimed, "Not everyone who says to Me,"Lord,Lord"'shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven"(Matt.7:21) His warning should cause all of us to carefully consider our religions beliefs and assumptions. Why?Because many who claim to be His followers, who claim to have done great deeds in His name, will be rejected by Him.He will tell them,"I never knew you"(matt.7:23) Today we are faced w/ hundreds of religious groups, each claiming to be Christian and regarding itself as possessing that special something that gives it God's stamp of approval. Most groups that profess to be Christian represent themselves as having a "calling" as being the "chosen" of the Lord.Even many non-Christian religious groups regard themselves as divinely chosen.NO matter how we look at it,the religious scene is confusing..No wonder millions are suspicious of all religion. Is it possible to sort the truth from this puzzling religious hodgepodge?------ In deed,it is!If we are willing to take an honest look at the facts and accept the truth as revealed in the Scriptures! Jesus Christ is real.He was resurrected. He is alive. And His impact on the world has exceeded that of any other man who has ever lived.... Most people are familiar with the name Jesus Christ, but how many knows what He taught? What was His mission? What What makes His true followers different?Who truly represents Him?........ Only a heart that is free to love is also free to receive God's gifts in full measure. For a closed heart can only open to Divine blessing in small degree since its shape is that of a tiny cup rather than a large and spacious bowl, and what it can receive is often as small as what it is willing to give.

"the Secret of Life is not just to Live...but to have something, someone worthwhile to Live for".. you know, without God ..you're nothing! without Gods presence in you, you will feel empty.. so Live your Life to the fullest..

The storms of our life
Prove the strength of our anchor…..

"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine
and puts them into practice is like a wise man
who built his house on the rock.- Matt.7:24

Living for the Lord, serving Him each day,
Best prepares the soul for the stormy way;
Then as trials come, tempting to despair,
We can rest secure, safe within His care.

PAGE 1: UNBELIEVER to BELIEVER - (A Babe in Christ) and how I learned to know JESUS more.

My testimony ‘How I found Jesus’ - When I was 26yrs of age I was happily married with two beautiful children, (the third yet to come) but something was missing in my life. Somehow I knew that it was God, for two years I searched for Him. I went into a lot of churches, some even said I had to join or I wouldn’t be saved, I thought – that couldn’t be right what about everyone else? Some were like Jesus had been there but was no longer there.
Obviously I didn’t get to go into a church where I would have found Jesus but God has a plan for each of us.
I was invited to a non denominational Christian breakfast (FGBMFI) – and there I heard some amazing testimonies of what Jesus had done for these men. Then we prayed and a man asked if there was anyone present who would like to give their life to Jesus. He said that it’s not about joining anything or becoming anything, but about a direct relationship with Jesus, with nothing or no one in between just you and Him! I thought “Wow that is just so good” My hand shot up so fast that I thought my hand would come off my arm I got ‘saved,’ and baptised in the Holy Spirit
To me that was complete freedom that day I knew who I was, where I came from, and where I was going, so good! I had found Jesus at last! I was so excited I wanted to get to know Jesus, I read everything I could about Him.
And it has been just like that since that April day in 1974. It’s all about Jesus, no matter where I go or where I visit, Jesus is my number one. I have come to know Jesus much better by ‘Listening to Him’ (I have done this in a prescribed way) to know Him is to love Him. To really know Him is to really love Him.

RELATIONSHIP
Step 1 Accept Jesus - “Jesus I believe you are the Son of God, I repent of my sins, come into my life make me born again, baptise me with the Holy Spirit and with fire, Holy Spirit of God my body is Your temple, come live in me, guide me into all truth, show me Jesus, remind me of every word Jesus spoke, show me the things to come, fill me with power to be a witness for Jesus, and new tongues to talk to you, amen Holy Spirit, thank you Jesus”. See Mtt 3:11 John 14:15-16:15, get to know the Holy Spirit and Jesus, read His words and put them into practice.

Deuteronomy 18:15 (Moses) – “The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brothers. You must listen to Him”.

Deuteronomy 18:18 “I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put My words into His mouth, and He will tell them everything I command Him. If anyone does not listen to My words that the Prophet speaks in My name, I Myself will call him to account.”
Isaiah42:1-4 “Here is My servant, whom I uphold, My chosen One in whom I delight; I will put My Spirit on Him and He will bring justice to the nations/Gentiles. He will not shout or cry out, or raise His voice in the streets. A bruised reed He will not break and a smouldering wick He will not snuff out. In faithfulness He will bring forth justice; He will not falter or be discouraged till He establishes justice on earth. In His law the islands put their hope”.
6 -7 / “I the Lord, have called You in righteousness; I will take hold of Your hand, I will keep You and make You to be a covenant for the people and a light to the Gentiles, to open the eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.”
The Fathers command to the disciples of Jesus Christ – Do you know it? Do you follow it? Do you put His words into practice?
Mathew 17:5 “This is My Son whom I love; with Him I am well pleased, Listen to Him!”
Mark 9:7 “This is My Son, whom I love, Listen to Him”
Luke 9:35 “This is My Son, whom I have chosen: listen to Him”
John 2:5 - Mary the Mothers’ gospel – “Do whatever He tells you”
John 6:29 Jesus answered “The work of God is this: to believe in the one He sent.”
Luke 6:37 Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
John 13:34-35 I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. As I have loved you, you should also love one another. By this all shall know that you are My disciples, if you have love toward one another.
Mat 5:44 But I say to you, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who despitefully use you and persecute you,
Mark 16:17 “And these signs will accompany those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; and they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well”.
John 14:12 Jesus said that those who believe in Him would do what He did and even greater things.

*If you really want to get to know Jesus more, see Page 2/ over ↓
Page 2/ - From Believers to Disciples to Servants to Friends to Sons and Daughters to Brothers and Sisters -
------ SUGGESTED METHOD TO OBEY THE FATHER’S COMMAND ------
Matt 17:5 Mk 9:7 Lk 9:35 “This is My Son whom I love; with Him I am well pleased, listen to Him!”

God spends all of His time loving us, so how much time and how much love do you have for Him?
------- “LISTENING TO JESUS” -------
A most beautiful way to come to know the Lord – a true Bible course!
THANK YOU LORD FOR YOUR WORD – THANK YOU FOR YOUR EVERYTHING.
John 1:14 The Word became flesh -
John 6:56 Jesus said “Whoever eats of My flesh and drinks My blood remains in Me, and I in him”.

This method is perfect, it helps to keep your interest at a high level and opens up the ‘Word’ into understanding. The Holy Spirit will remind you of what Jesus said, so invite the Holy Spirit to be with you as you read - ask Him questions - John 14:16
Level 1/ Get a ‘black letter’ Bible read it and search out and highlight all the words that Jesus said, starting in Matthew, then
Mark, Luke and John. Also highlight - in different colours or underline the words spoken by the Father and the Holy Spirit.
,
Level 2/ If you can afford to have a new bible (If possible use different translations) for each of the markings great, if not
read out aloud the all the words you have highlighted from Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

Level 3/ A/ Then read and highlight the rest of the New Testament from Acts to Revelation.
B/ Next read the Old Testament - and highlight all the words spoken by God.
C/ Highlight or read out aloud all the words God spoke from Genesis to Revelation three times - or more.
D/ Do the second reading aloud - See if you can hear the tones/voice, was it soft or with authority, when He spoke –
“Let there be light” “What are you doing here Elijah?” “What is your name” “Today you shall be with Me in
Paradise” “Women behold your son” “Behold your mother” “I am coming soon,” etc.
E/ The third time you could sing because we harvest His words in joy when we put them into practice John 4:36 –beautiful!

Level 4/ Then write out all the Words you have highlighted, from Genesis to Revelation. Why? Because Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords.Rev. 17:4; 19:16 and this is the requirement of a king-Deuteronomy 17:18 When he takes the throne of his kingdom, he is to write for himself on a scroll a copy of this Law, taken from that of the priests, the Levites. Joshua 8:32 There in the presence of the Israelites, Joshua copied on stones the Law of Moses which he had written. This is part of our training to be lords and kings in His kingdom if we desire to be overcomers as in Revelation 2:26-27 and 20:4.

Level 5/ You could write or highlight the words of Jesus in different colours according to whom Jesus was speaking to, for
example: privately to the 12 apostles, the disciples in general, the crowds, Pharisees, money changers, healed, demons etc.
.
Level 6/ Keep reading out loud all the highlighted words over and over Genesis to Revelation and you will find that the word of
God will open up and leap out at you as the Lord speaks to you through His word and you become more like Him.

Level 7/ LISTEN as you read - Ps 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God” – There are many voices, Listen and know - who is speaking! John 10:3 -4 – (He calls His own sheep by name and His sheep follow Him, - For they know His voice.)

Level 7-A/ Now “Put My words into practice”! Luke 6:46-48 Mth.7:24-25, Be a wise builder, practice (also see Romans
10:17) Lay hands on the sick, multiply the food, change water to good wine! Practice speaking out the words of Jesus.

Level 7-B/ Many churches, many teachings - if every Christian is “Listening to Jesus” and putting His words into practice
there would be no arguments in Christendom! Genesis 11: 6 –When all are speaking the same language then
“Nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them” Still have an argument? Take it up with Jesus! Ask the Holy Spirit. John 13:34/35 Jesus commands us to love one another, so the world will know that we are His disciples!

IT IS SO VERY GOOD TO KNOW GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON, and GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT BETTER.
Luke 6:47-48 - Hear His words and put them into practice, practice, practice! Dig down deep, build on the Rock -
Mat 24:35 Jesus said “Heaven and earth will pass away but My words will never pass away”. John6:63 “The words I have spoken to you are S/spirit and they are life.” Heb 4:12 - The Word of God is living and active Sharper than any doubled - edged sword. Rev 1:16 - out of His mouth came a sharp, double-edged sword.

RESPECT BEGINS WITH A GODLY PERSPECTIVE....
respect means we see one another through our father's eyes as eternal beings chosen by God .it also means seeing each other as co-heirs with christ. respect means we consistently remember we will soon be sharing heaven with those in our congregations, even those we have difficulty respecting now.a significant part of respect is simply listening.the God of the universe listens to our prayers.jesus listened to those around him.similarly,we should listen to our brothers and sisters in christ.God bless you.thank you
john.
