Many people, even many Christians, find it very difficult to be thankful. Yet, the Bible repeatedly tells us to be thankful in everything. We should live overflowing with thankfulness (Colossians 2:7).
Rather than finding something to complain about, we should find something to be thankful for. There is always something in life for which to thank God; indeed, we should always [be] giving thanks to God the Father for everything (Ephesians 5:20).
Furthermore, Psalm 100:4 tells us: Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. Notice that just entering his gates demands that we be thankful.
Being thankful is important to God. Therefore, decide to live with an attitude of gratitude.
Kathleen, thanks so much for posting these words of wisdom and truth. You don't know how important it was for me to read this....this morning, i am feeling sad and worried regarding my children and this helped me to focus on the good instead and to let them go and let God deal with them...it's hard to do this, but I know I must keep doing it. Thanks again. It's so true that in times of need, God will somehow let you hear what you need to hear at that moment.
Thank you Jesus, these words are so true. I thank you for them, they are a blessing. May we continue to be thankful to God for the rest of our lives. May we continue to love each other as God ask us to do. Blessings always.
those words are so to you really do not miss what you have until it is gone, i should know i am about to lose everything i have, i guess things can get worse but i do not see how but i learned you never challenge worse because it can get worse thanks donna gibson

Attitude is everything for us as Christians. Last Sunday the message was Christians with an attitude. Our attitudes speak more than our words in so many ways.
Philippians 2 >>
New Living Translation
Have the Attitude of Christ
1-Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate?
2-Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose.
3-Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. 4-Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.
5-You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.
6-Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to.
7-Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form,
8-he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.
9-Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names,
10-that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11-and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Amen. Praise God...thank you for posting this uplifting words ate Kath..May the Lord continue to minister in your daily life. Praise His Holy Name Yahweh! May the Lord always be with you and your family.
Praise be to the Almighty God. May God shine His face upon you and teach you further and further to carry out His wonderful and amazing work. I pray to God in Jesus Name to equip you with everything you need in life and to be His messenger at all times. God bless you in Jesus Name. Amen. Step ahead.
