When you face a hard day or a difficult time in your life, what is a verse that helps you pull through and remained focused on Jesus instead of the circumstances?

Please read Psalm 18:2
" ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR THE GOOD OD THEM THAT LOVE GOD AND ARE THE CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE"
This gives me courage all the time to know that God is in total control of it all regardless of what am going through..and i also know that whatever i go through will work for me..its like having employees making money for you even when you dnt personally know those ppl..Great thought Melissa
Proverbs 3:5,6 says..."TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING. iN ALL WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM AND HE WILL DIRECT YOUR PATH." I need simple, and to me it does not get any more simple than that. I cling to this. It is a tough and ugly world "out there" and I must go prepared with my suit of God's armor and this verse...Every minute of every day. Praise God. Jesus loves me this I know for the bible tells me so...(Mine and Amya's favorite/nighttime song) PEACE OUT
Adversity and conflict entered my home again this evening in the form of my earthly mother through my telephone line...during which time I was studying The Gospel of Matthew and I was directed to 18:20..."For where two or three are gathered as my followers, I am there among them." I sat my grandaughter on my lap and I prayed outloud holding her folded little hands in mine. I prayed for release from Satan's grip and for him to flee from my home in the name of Jesus Christ. Of course it worked, the promise is right there in His Word...Praise God.
John 16:33 ~ These things I have spoken unto you that in Me ye may have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

(That may not be EXACTLY right, sometimes I get my ye's and you's mixed up, but it still means the same, lol!)
oooo.....I love this question.

Psalm 46:1
God is our refuge and strength,
always ready to help in times of trouble.
and
Psalm 46:10
"Be still, and know that I am God!
I will be honored by every nation.
I will be honored throughout the world."
It's hard to choose a favourite...but I would have to say that Psalm 46 sends chills in, out, around and all over!!!

God Bless! carla
This is one of many scriptures I quote frequently Psalms 103:1-5 (KJV)
1 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
Psalm 34:19 - THE RIGHTEOUS FACE MANY TROUBLES, BUT THE LORD RESCUES THEM FROM EACH AND EVERY ONE.

And Psalm 23:4 - EVEN THOUGH I WALK THROUGH THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOW OF DEATH, I WILL FEAR NO EVIL, FOR YOU ARE WITH ME; YOUR ROD AND YOUR STAFF, THEY COMFORT ME.
But those that wait on the Lord, shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
Both of these verses really help me through tough times, to me, they affirm that God is my protector and is always there.

Psalm 91

1-13 You who sit down in the High God's presence, spend the night in Shaddai's shadow,
Say this: "God, you're my refuge.
I trust in you and I'm safe!"
That's right—he rescues you from hidden traps,
shields you from deadly hazards.
His huge outstretched arms protect you—
under them you're perfectly safe;
his arms fend off all harm.
Fear nothing—not wild wolves in the night,
not flying arrows in the day,
Not disease that prowls through the darkness,
not disaster that erupts at high noon.
Even though others succumb all around,
drop like flies right and left,
no harm will even graze you.
You'll stand untouched, watch it all from a distance,
watch the wicked turn into corpses.
Yes, because God's your refuge,
the High God your very own home,
Evil can't get close to you,
harm can't get through the door.
He ordered his angels
to guard you wherever you go.
If you stumble, they'll catch you;
their job is to keep you from falling.
You'll walk unharmed among lions and snakes,
and kick young lions and serpents from the path.

14-16 "If you'll hold on to me for dear life," says God,
"I'll get you out of any trouble.
I'll give you the best of care
if you'll only get to know and trust me.
Call me and I'll answer, be at your side in bad times;
I'll rescue you, then throw you a party.
I'll give you a long life,
give you a long drink of salvation!"

Isaiah 43
Israel's Only Savior
1 But now, this is what the LORD says—
he who created you, O Jacob,
he who formed you, O Israel:
"Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name; you are mine.

2 When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.
