Is it possible...(about angels/demons)
Ok, I was talking to God about Asia Bibi's petition on CallForMercy and how it needed 1,00,000 signatures. I looked up and thought I seen some kind of flat/round white disk thing. I looked up again and it was gone.
I thought before that I've seen stuff out of the corner of my eye but whatever it was disappeared.
Do angels/demons suddenly appear to people for a brief second than leave? What's your opinion on the disk thing? I know it could have been my eyes, I'd just like to know your opinions. Has anything similar ever happened to any of you?

Nope, never happened here. I really don't have an answer for any of these questions. The word does tell us that we will entertain angels unknowingly.

I think the out of the corner of your eye phenomena does happen to some. It is a result of your peripheral vision. Those are not demons or ghosts as some report. I had a lady in our school one time tell me she was seeing ghosts out of the corner of her eye. She seemed to be sane and honest. Checking into it I found that several did experience this but that it was not a spiritual thing. Hope that helps.

Sorry, that might have been a bad choice of words. She was very sincere is probably a better choice of words. It did sound a little humorous but certainly not directed at anyone. It is proven that some people do actually see things out of the corner of their eyes. I just googled "seeing ghosts out of the corner of your eye" and hundreds of articles came up. Most are people that really believe these are ghosts they are seeing. If you start talking about it here on this site, you would get all kinds of testimonies because many seem to have one in this area. I am encouraging feetbreeze to pay it no mind. If you focus on this you will begin to think all kinds of weird things.
I am a person that believes in His Word. There are a few instances in the Word where people see ghosts or demons. There are not many - certainly not enough to justify all that we hear about today. It is interesting that the disciples thought they were seeing a ghost when they saw Jesus approaching them walking on the water. Just thinking about it, I think I would have thought the same thing. Why would I think that since I have never seen one or anything that even resembled a ghost? That's a good question. I guess there is that side of us that does wonder about the other dimension.

Demonic activity is as real as the fact that there is a God, but we have to be careful not to see demonic activity when we perceive strange occurrences that can be the results of natural causes.

What about this? I remember my parents and I just came from a parents/teachers conference up at the school. I was ether in 9th or 10th grade. Dad was driving, we were on the road. I looked there was this guy. He looked like a construction man with the hardhat and clothing. I looked again and he was gone.
Do you think that was an angel or what?

What a beautiful story Char.
I know a girl who used to be in one of my bible study groups who experienced a similiar thing. She was walking down a dirt road and felt unsafe as an 'evil' guy was following her.. She started praying, and a man from nowhere caught up to her..she knew she could trust him. He offered to walk with her and they chatted until she reached a safe location.... then he kind of just was gone.

That is a nice story. Especially the part where the evil guy ran off of the bus. God certainly answers prayers. :) Thanks for sharing sis.

I've had several circumstances where I have seen things that one would classify as 'abnormal'.
1) One time I was praying as I was driving... I was really discouraged. I looked up in the sky and saw a cross suspended in the sky-- it was an old rugged cross. then I heard the Lord speak to me 'keep your eyes on Me'.
2) Another time I was driving (again) and just praying, talking to God.. And I saw the words of scripture written across the sky... And the words 'My word will never pass away, It is settled forever in Heaven and on earth'
3) Another time I was walking and praying.. Talking to God.. I looked up into the clouds and saw two clear paths.. One was wide and broad, and the other was narrow.. The words spoken were 'choose the narrow way'.
4) Another time I was crying out to God from my prayer room, and I looked up into the sky and saw the face of Jesus in the clouds.. I know we don't know really what His physical appearance looks like.. but He was pictured clearly... and the words 'The eyes of the LORD search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.' I needed to be strengthened.. The promise was-- stay fully committed to Him and He will strengthen me.
5) Another time I was delivering food to a food bank.. And I had forgotten to call ahead to see if they were open. The entire drive there I was praying for God to open the door that I would be let in.. When I arrived the food bank was closed. it seemed that no one was there.. I felt prompted to attempt to bring in the stuff anyway.. Once I brought the supplies to the door, a construction worker came up and opened the door for me. I was able to bring everything in safely. Once I was finished bringing the stuff in they were just opening.. They asked me how I got in. I said 'some guy let me in'... They were baffled because they were closed and their were only women beginning their shift. God answered my prayer.
If God wants to show you something, I believe He will make it pretty clear so that you won't be left guessing. Just a word of caution.. be careful to not pursue the 'thing' that is seemingly supernatural, so that you end up missing Jesus. Keep your eyes on Him Beloved.

Amen and Amen.. Absolutely nothing is impossible with God. We need to realize that moment by moment as we trust in Him and seek Him. As we do this we will clearly see His hand on the things in our lives.
This needs to be coupled with studying scripture, prayer and Christian fellowship. Don't go flying off all crazy looking for supernatural heights... it's a trap. Stay grounded in our Lord Jesus.
