Looming Cliff

I was raised in the Pentecostal Religion. When I was in the 3rd. grade, that was around 7 or 8 years old I came home with a D on my report card in English. My parents were very abusive. God, I know that You're for me.

You answer every cry I make to You.

Whether I'm singing Your praise or crying out in hurt and pain, I know that You'll answer me in the way that's Your will.

Lord, I know that at times I am too quick to judge

I know that I should be more gracious even when people have done bad things

Lord, You know my heart

You know when I judge

Help me to show Your grace no matter what people have done

Judgement

Lord, I know that Your word says to judge others as I wish to be judged.
I know that I should show Your love and grace to all.
I know I don't always show Your love and grace to people who do evil things.
Especially those who hurt others.
So now I turn my eyes to You.
And ask You to show me how to be less judgemental.
And to show Your love and grace to everyone.
