Lord's Prayer Personalized

I have been praying the below prayer nightly since the beginning of the year.  I have found it pulling me closer to God.  I pray that you find it helpful in your prayer life.  in changes slightly every day as so my sins but I think you might find it helpful in your prayer life.

Our Father who art in heaven.

Hallowed be Thy name.

            Dear Lord help me      To respect You.

                                                To love You as I should.

                                                To fear You as the creator of the universe

                                                To always remember my sinful nature and that it is only

                                                     through Jesus’ Grace that I belong to You.

Our Father who art in heaven,

Hallowed be Thy name.

Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done.

            Dear Lord please             Use my body for Your will.

                                                    Use my hands and feet for Your will.

                                                    Use my mind for Your will.

                                                    Use my heart for Your will,

                                                    Make my soul yearn for Your will.

                                                     I pray each and every day I choose only Your will.

Thy kingdom come.  Thy will be done.

On earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

            Dear Lord please          Teach me to trust that You will provide for me.

                                                 Help me to depend on You in every way

            Dear Lord please         Forgive me for yelling at my children.

                                                For yelling at my huband.

                                                For choosing to watch TV instead of reading Your word.

                                                For my impatience.

                                                For my judgement of others.

                                                For my insensitive words.

                                                For what I have done and the things I have left undone.

                                                Please Dear Lord forgive me.

As we forgive those that sinned against us.

            Dear Lord                    Help me to forgive my mother-in-law

                                                Teach me to forgive my church for their betrayal.

                                                Help me to forgive my Pastor for his apathy.

Lead us not into temptation.

And Deliver us from Evil

            Dear Lord                    Please keep me safe from the evil one.

                                                Please help me through all my trials.

                                                Please help me through the stress of the day.

                                                Dear Lord please stay with me.
