Patience with my Child

I figured every parent could use a prayer like this..........

Please Dear Lord,

Give me patience with this kid.

I am about to loose my lid

That Smirk, I could just smack

Please hold my temper back!

Give me patience with my child

I know I must not seem at all riled.

Oh I know I want to just scream

But your love must reign supreme.

Give me patience with my daughter.

Let your love flow through me like water.

She is just a child and I am the adult

I must learn to take this insult

Repeat until God grants you patience…….
