Jesus knew when and how He was going to die.
The day before He was to die was the Passover. The Lord spent the evening with his disciples honoring the Old Testament laws pertaining to the final celebration of the first and greatest of the feast days. And they returned from spying out the land after forty days. 26 Now they departed and came back to Moses and Aaron and all the congregation of the children of Israel in the Wilderness of Paran, at Kadesh; they brought back word to them and to all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of the land. 27 Then they told him, and said: “We went to the land where you sent us. It truly flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit. 28 Nevertheless the people who dwell in the land are…Continue

"The picture of God's lamp shining on Job's head symbolized divine blessing and success." - Nelson's New Illustrated Bible Commentary
"Those that have the brightest sun-shine of outward prosperity must yet expect some moments of darkness. They are sometimes crossed, sometimes at a loss, sometimes melancholy. But those that are interested in the favour of God, and know how to value it, can, by the light of that, walk cheerfully and comfortably through all the darkness of this vale of… Continue

You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.Matthew 5:14-16
Jesus said, “I am the Light of the world,” (John 8:12). He also said of His followers—which includes modern believers—“You are the light of… Continue
Dearest Lord Jesus,
I wish to thank you for saving my soul from eternal damnation; thank you for coming into my life...
For now, you LIVE IN MY HEART!
Though it was only 9 short months ago it feels like it was just yesterday, that I heard the voice of The Holy Spirit for the very first time. It was sweeter to my soul than chocolate is to the tongue. You delivered me from cocaine...from lifelong depression and generational sin...from a failing marriage...a broken… Continue

2Co 6:3 We give no occasion for offense in anything, lest the ministry be blamed,
2Co 6:4 but in everything commending ourselves as ministers of…Continue

I hope all sufferers of any description that may plague us had moments of spiritual realization or are still hopeful to accept that the Lord is with you.

Why is this christmas so gloomy? I wonder if its still "joy to the world ". But I still don't understand why I would lose my dad few days to christmas. Like that wasn't enough . Now I wonder why my friend, whom I call my baby brother, lose his mother on a christmas night. I mean few hours ago. Where does my consolation come from ? Though I strongly refuse to ask God why, I still believe it's not his will. But then it's well with my soul.
