Hi...merry christmas and god bless all. I want to thank you for all of your posts and comments....all are greatly apprecaited.
I want to praise the power of Jesus name....I have been a practicing alcoholic(sp) since I was 21. Over the past few months I have been praying for the urge to be taken away. I am happy to say that through the power of Jesus Christ, my urge to drink has all but vanished. Yes, I slip up now and then, but I went from drinking everyday for over 18 years straight…

Then the king said to me, “What do you request?” So I prayed to the God of heaven.
And I said to the king, “If it pleases the king, and if your servant has found favor in your sight, I ask that you send me to Judah, to the city of my fathers’ tombs, that I may rebuild it.”
Then the king said to me (the queen also sitting beside him), “How long will your journey be? And when will you return?” So it pleased the king to send me; and I set him a time. Nehemiah… Continue

I AM SAD FOR ALL US THAT LOVED WILMA, AND WILL MISS HER. SHE IS IN THE LOVING ARM OF OUR LORD. REST IN PEACE MY GOOD FRIEND. I PRAY FOR PEACE…

ARE YOU IN A RELATIONSHIP OR ARE YOU IN A RELIGION?
God never places an expectation on us. Expectations requires that someone does not know the future or outcome and is trying to control behavior to get the desired result.
We try to control behavior largely through expectations. God knows everything about us so why would He have an expectation other than what He…

SPIRIT
The Gifts of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit moves in the life of the believer to equip him/her in the service of God. Understanding the gifts of the Holy Spirit is important, because we live in a supernatural world and the gifts allow us to have an impact in this world. However, the problem is not every person who has the “Guarantee” of the Holy Spirit, uses the gifts of the Spirit.
Scripture promises a gift of the Spirit to everyone who has…

When you don’t forgive, it causes many physical problems, as well as mental. HARBORING UNFORGIVENESS IS LIKE DRINKING POISON AND HOPING YOUR ENEMY WILL DIE. People have been known to develop cancer, asthma, social anxiety, bi-polar disorder, depression, ulcers, obesity, addictions (drugs, alcohol) just to name a few. It’s called TOXIC EMOTIONS people!! And it is satan’s trick--so you get your mind off God. So let’s be healthy and forgive those people that have done us wrong. It doesn’t matter…

8 Or what woman, having ten bits of silver, if one bit has gone from her hands, will not get a light, and go through her house, searching with care till she sees it?
9 And when she has it again, she gets her friends and neighbours together, saying, Be glad with me, for I have got back the bit of silver which had gone from me.
Luke 15:8-9 (BBE)
Webster's New World Dictionary defines a miracle as "A remarkable event or thing, marvel." It also defines it as "An event or…

GOD’S PRESENCE IN OUR PAIN
So, if “Immanuel,” (meaning “God with us”), was one of the names given Jesus, and Scripture promises believers he will never leave us or forsake us. . . well then, how do we come to…

Hello, my brothers and sisters in Jesus once more,
Another friend is in great distress. Her nickname is Moonpie, and she faces the situation of her friend dealing with Schizophrenia. It is becoming more difficult, and the poor girl cries and begs for these imaginary people to go away. Moonpie has already confronted her about it, but she sees this not being a mental illness. Her parents also do not realize the severe problem and refuses to seek help. I am worrried for Moonpie and her…

" Any Other day"
Christmas shouldn't be much different than any other day
We should think about the Savior as we go along our way
If you gave your heart to Jesus to have and to hold
If you told Him that your heart is truly His to mold
Then Christmas shouldn't be much different a day to celebrate
Than the ordinary days we'll bring to heavens gate
So lets all try to live each day as God would have us do
With…

I would like to ask for prayers for my daughter-in-law (Liz) and family. She was and still is in lots of pain. After testing, it has been found that she has a multiple cyst on her ovaries and something wrong with the pancreas but they do not know what yet. God can do incredible things I know. My son (David) is the prodical son and my daughter-in-law has left her Morman background for accepting Christ as her Savior, but is not walking with Him. They also have a precious 20 month old girl (Laci).…

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.Galatians 5:22-23
In Matthew 5:13, Jesus calls His followers to be the "salt of the earth." What qualities does salt possess that we can exhibit in our spiritual lives?
First, salt adds flavor. Salt doesn't bring change to itself; it seasons that which needs improved taste. In the same way, we are…

On the street I saw a small girl cold and shivering in a thin dress, with little hope of a decent meal. I became angry and said to God; “Why did you permit this? Why don’t you do something about it?” For a while God said nothing. That night he replied, quite suddenly: “I certainly did something about it. I made you.” - Invisible People
Another day, another discovery. What I found is a blog about "invisible people." Do you know them? Have you seen one? You may say, "How can I see them…
