Poem: Silent Words Are Useless

I've got my opinions as any other;

Hopefully, I'll be clear and you'll understand

that our silent words are useless -

For the trees will willingly clap their hands.

The one true God spoke into existence

the birds, fishes, plants, mammals, Earth

and all forms of life including...

Humble beginnings of Mankind's birth.

The sound of our individual voices

is something that God covets and enjoys;

He wants our unadulterated praise…

Poem: Giving Tithes to God

Revelations of the heart

regarding how one's money is spent

echoes volumes about character

and our God-given talents.

For Jehovah is far from being poor;

He owns the cattle on a thousand hills.

He's not into ungodly extortion

to keep you from paying your bills.

By serving two masters,

one will be dearly loved - the other sorely hated;

so one can never be truly happy

until settling the God and Mammon debate.

The wealth of God lies…

Can I Silence the Voice of God?

Are there things I do, or might do, that would silence his presence?

God has promised he will never leave you, but your ability to feel him might be dimmed.  So, if you want to maintain an awareness of God’s presence in your life,

Refrain from activities…

"Proving Them Wrong"

Everyone suffers an occasional rejection. Some high school seniors don't get into their college of choice. Many a college graduate doesn't get the dream job he or she had counted on. Suitors are turned down. Social slights abound.

Some people so internalize the rejections they encounter that they become paralyzed by life. They abandon their dreams. They settle for less than God intended with their lives. They give up and resign themselves to mediocrity. They allow the judgments…

those that Wait..

The LORD is waiting to be kind to you. He rises to have compassion on you. The LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all those who wait for him. Isaiah 30:18

We are blessed by waiting on the Lord. We trust that the Lord wants to help us. We stand at the ready. He knows what we need even before we ask. When Isaiah spoke…

Speak to us, Lord!

And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord;   but the Lord was not in the wind~ and after the wind, an earthquake;     but the Lord was not in the earthquake~ and after the earthquake, a fire;    but the Lord was not in the fire~ and after the fire, a still small…

The Importance of Little Things

"Catch the foxes for us, The little foxes that are ruining the vineyards" (Song of Solomon 2:15 (NASB).

Ben Franklin is credited with having said the following: "For want of a nail the shoe was lost; for want of a shoe the horse was lost; and for want of a horse the rider was lost; being overtaken and slain…

The Alphabet of the Father Heart of God

A My Father is my Abba, Papa-God. I am His beloved child. (Romans 8:15; Galatians 4:4-7; John 1:12; James 1:18). B My Father blesses me with every heavenly gift. (Ephesians 1:3). C My Father gathers me in His arms and carries me all my life. (Isaiah 40:11, 46:3-4; Deuteronomy 1:31). My Father chose me from the foundation of the world. (Ephesians 1:4-6).

Where are you?

I have been under attack today, in a big way.  This is from that attack.  This is not pointed to anyone.  This is how Holy Ghost showed me, to stand up against the enemy.  I Trust you are able to see, what I was shown,

"Listen to what the story about the farmer means. Someone hears the word about the kingdom but doesn't understand it. The evil one comes at…

Daily food from heaven

Rom 5:6-11 Christ died for all

Christ died for sinners; not only such as were useless, but such as were guilty and hateful; such that their everlasting destruction would be to the glory of God's justice. Christ died to save us, not in our sins, but from our sins; and we were yet sinners when he died for us. Nay, the carnal mind is not only an enemy to God, but enmity itself, Rom 8:7 Col 1:21, But God designed to deliver from sin, and to work a great change. While the sinful state…

Rom 5:1-5 Justifacation

A blessed change takes place in the sinner's state, when he becomes a true believer, whatever he has been. Being justified by faith he has peace with God. The holy, righteous God, cannot be at peace with a sinner, while under the guilt of sin. Justification takes away the guilt, and so makes way for peace. This is through our Lord Jesus Christ; through him as the great Peace-maker, the Mediator between God and man. The saints' happy state is a state of grace. Into this…

ABOUT BEING YOU

ABOUT BEING YOU

Consider Peter’s words to the crippled man of Acts 3: 6,

‘Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus

Christ of Nazareth, walk.’ And the miracle as Peter ‘gave’ what he had and then

the man ‘jumped to his feet and began to walk’ (v8).

Now relate it to yourself… ‘you.’ You cannot be Peter; in fact you cannot be someone else. You are…

Should I even bother?

I honestly can't deal with people!  The last few months I fooled myself into believing that somehow God was allowing that I be afflicted  with certain symptoms that were affecting my health for a bigger purpose. I somehow felt that He was calling me to take a journey on His path. Months have passed and all I've gotten is angrier, more bitter, and downright rude!

Dealing with the public is not my strong suit whatsoever. I can come across very curt, blunt, and insensitive. People tell…

ZION TRAIN: The Heavens Opened (Part 8)

The Heavens Opened (Part 8)

By Anna Rountree

(Continuation)

A Garden for Lovers:

The path circled the garden, with plantings and beds near the wall as well as on the opposite side of the path in the center of the garden. Camphire (henna) was blooming there, and the star-of-Bethlehem, blue flax, and the scarlet lily were blooming in beds near it.

“Who tends this garden?” I asked. “You do,” He answered.

“I tend this garden?” I exclaimed…
