I'm here to...: learn more about what Christ did for me and how to totally submit to Him

I'm passionate about...: humanity and making the world a better place to be. I am very interested in missionary work but not sure where to start. I am a Medical Assistant and a Nursing Assistant so I am sure my skills could help out somewhere but don't know who to contact about this.

My story with God: I was saved in the mid 70's and have somewhat struggled to stay submitted faithfully the way I want to be. I want to be sold out and on fire for God! I have been through divorce, devastation, and recently the death of my husband. I feel a little lost as to the direction of my life now. I am widowed and almost 60 but I want to be used by God. I need wisdom and clear direction.

Other stuff about me:: I have 3 grown children and 8 grandchildren and am very close to them. They are my greatest treasures.I know sometimes that I am co-dependent on them for my happiness. This is a weakness of mine, I have made them my whole world and know that that is not healthy for me or them. I want and need a life where I can feel pride, joy and peace apart from them. I guess what I am trying to say is that I need to find purpose in my life now that my husband is gone. Thank you for any insight you can give me.
