Amen GM! Such a beautiful insight to what must have been an awesome experience. All the things she felt and watched over His Life. What a wonderful honor, yet as you say simple and plain.
And again Amen to, " Let it be to me according to your word Lord," that must be our goal. As we have this attitude we will learn humility. It is built into that mindset. Let it be..Your Will not my own..so many think power is expressed powerfully, and humble is for the weak. Yet, true power does not need to be shown off. It will be there the moment it is needed, and put back until needed again.

Luke 1:38 Let it be to me according to your word:
The life of the mother of Jesus was simple and plain. She did the tasks that others did at her age, learning how to be a good homemaker for her future husband. There was nothing out of the ordinary about her external life -at least not revealed in Scripture. Yet what treasures of grace lie concealed in Mary's attitude! When the angel announced that her child would be called "The Son of God" she responded Let it be to me according to your word. Her answer contained all that our Lord requires the pure, simple submission of the soul to His will. This was the secret of Mary's deep spirituality. She abandoned herself to God's will in the present and received God's grace to do what God asked of her.
What God is asking you to do? It maybe something magnificent, or something ordinary. Let it be that we'll be able to say. Let it be to me according to your word Lord. as we fully submit to the will of God. Amen.

God is good; God is great!

We always sing the song God is great , and He is good. Amen. What life could be like if this is not true.. -if God were not both great and good.
without his greatness maintaining order in the universe, the galaxies would be a junkyard of banged up stars and planets. And without his goodness saying enough to every evil despot, the earth would a playground ruled by thew biggest bully.
Singing and declaring God's greatness and goodness celebrates two profound attributes of God: His transcendence and His immanence:
Transcendence means that his greatness is beyond our comprehension. Immanence describes His nearness to us. The greatness of the Almighty God sends us to our knees in humility. But the goodness of God lifts us back to our feet in grateful, jubilant praise. The one who is above everything humbled Himself and became one of us (Psalm 135: 5; Phil. 2:8)
Thank God that He uses His greatness not to destroy us but to save us, and that He uses His goodness not as a reason to reject us but as a way to reach us.
When you taste God's goodness; His praise will be on your lips. Amen.

Sometimes we entomb ourselves with the sins of the world, allowing our lives to be wrapped in the shroud of despair. Because we have forsaken the "joy of the Lord," we no longer have strength to fight!
"This day is sacred to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength." Nehemiah 8:10

Father, in the name of your son JESUS CHRIST our Lord, we come to you as one with humility in our hearts, acknowledging that we are nothing with you Lord in us.. Dear God, thank you Lord for this group of people who are committed to do your will and be in accordance to your will. Father, thank you for all the blessings you've bestowed to each and everyone. Thank you Lord for the love and the peace, thank you for you are our Jehovah Jireh our God who provides, the Lord who guides, and leads and instruct and teach us as to what to do and to allow your will to be done. Thank you Lord Jesus. Thank you Father, cause your name to be glorified and be magnified in the life of each and everyone. we love you Lord Jesus, We praise you Father. Thank you for teaching us to submit our will to your will.. we give you the glory the honor and the praise. Thank you Lord..

What Does God Like?
Ephesians 5: 18 - 19
....... Be filled with the Holy Spirit
19 Speak to one another with songs, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord. wow.. Amen.
One way we can express pour worship to God is through singing.. from churches may have different way of worshiping God through songs, some may be solemn, some may be revolutionary (as I do ) :) or in whatever way, that's not the issue.. because God doesn't look on how you do it. but rather he looks at the condition of the heart. Whatever the style of worship, as we express to God our praise for who He is and all He has done, we lift Him up and encourage others. That's what God likes.
"So.. Let us celebrate together, Lift our voices in one accord,
Singing of God's grace and mercy, and the goodness of the Lord,
For at the heart of worship is worship from the heart"

Money Matters
No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other. or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other: Luke 16:13
In this verse, Jesus warned that we can become slaves to money.
We may not think that money means more to us than God does.
If we pursue earthly gain, we choose a path that ends in pain; But joy and peace are in the soul, when we pursue a heavenly goal.
To have a quick check on your heart, have a quick check on your to do list. Which comes first and which comes last.
