Well, if anyone should be writing a book on a big mouth, it definitely should be Joyce Meyers.

currently reading "me and my big mouth by Joyce meyer. guys this itself revealed the need to take care of the negative things that easily comes out of our mouths because positive power plus negative power = zero power in Gods kingdom. Be positive give thanks and dont complain. Chao!

Started to read "knowing god" by J.I packer. I will probably add a discussion on it when I get a bit more into the book :)

I love all of Jim's Cymbala's Fresh Wind Fresh Fire, Fresh Faith, Fresh Power. I'm more of a fiction horror suspense kinda reader. Frank Peretti & Ted Dekker & Bill Myers are at the top of that list

Sophia, I'm waiting on my last book to come in the mail. This is probably the 5th time I've tried reading this series. I started reading it when it first came out so I'd have to wait on the next in the series. Then I would lose interest. This last time, once I got past #4, I couldn't stop. I wouldn't eat, sleep, clean house, nothing. Now, I'm waiting on the last one to come in.

God is good, praise he always and believe in him, i faith and trust that he can do anything for his children.. I just want to give him praises and thanks for what he is doing in my life and family.

I would also like to add, that by reading that book, "Jesus Freaks" I will never be the same.  When we consider what others have and are to this day, giving up, all they have even their lives for Jesus.  I have to ask myself, what are You Leading me into Father.  And, Praise Him for the Strength to carry out His Will.

I have read "Jesus Freaks."  dc Talk and The Voice of the Martyrs.  It shares short stories of a great many, from some of the first up until 1999 I believe.    After reading only a few of the stories, I was so humbled that I had to take a good look at my Walk.  I know we are Saved by Grace and not our actions.  I know we all fall short.  Still when conviction falls, we can only fall to our knees.

This book has been out for quite some time now, so many of you may have already read, "Jesus Freaks."  If not I would highly recommend doing so.  My wife Arnette and I plan to read it again and again over time.

I would like to Thank Dorothy for inviting me to this group.  I do not read a lot of books, yet I will read what others have posted and look into the books.  Lord Bless.

I am reading "The Unexpected Adventure" By Lee Strobel and Mark Mittleberg. The book helps us to understand that evangelizing to others is meant to be an adventure and truly as I have seen for myself it is exactly that! Adventure can be anywhere at anytime. Letting God lead us!
