I am currently reading "Jesus according to Scripture: Restoring the Portrait from the Gospels." Has anyone read this and what do you think?

I find Day-By-Day by grace by Bob Hoekstra very inspiring and enlightening. You can obtain it free by downloading it from the website

I second reading The Atonement Child. It was very good.
Also, if you like science fiction you should check out C.S. Lewis' Space Trilogy.

Have you heard about generational curses? If you have, wouldn't you want to know whether there is Scriptural basis for the idea? Read the book, The Myth of the Generational Curse (Xulon Press, 2007) by G.A.N. James. ISBN 978-1-60477-292-0. It is just 95 pages and addresses the subject with plain enlightening Scriptures that dispel the sensational myth about the idea and leave you solidly grounded on the word of God. God bless you!
