My name is yolanda and I want to know why atheist don't believe in God Atheist believe that we share a common ancestor with chimpanzees Because Dna proved it was almost the same.As ours That bothers me because I believe that the world did not created it self.I don't believe in evolution but they keep trying to feed us this junk to our children in school .Atheist people think that christians are crazy for believing in a God.Our cells in our body work like a factor carrying and building thing that's scientist are amazed how it works so perfect sending message to each other.In order for this information to be perform it had to have had an informer and that informer is God but Atheist people don't believe that they think it's just luck.The way the earth moves they way its position it perfect.It's not luck that's the creator

Dear Yoland,
One thing you have to understand is that these people are still in darkness. People who move in darkness they easily stumble. Us we are children of the light that is why we are able to see what the Lord Jesus Christ has done fro us. We need to pray for these kinds of people so that God's love and power can set them free from the slavery thet are into.

I think it wrong to believe that, if others have a different way of looking at reality, to state that they are "in darkness". Stating so is judgemental. They may be relatively ignorant about God, the Bible, or Faith in both, but you may be relatively ignorant about what science teaches. Therefore, according to your logic, you are in darkness...when it comes to things that are scientifically understood. Better, in my humble opinion, to simply state that "they" have not found God as you have or you have not understood science as they have or they simply have a different way of believing in the meaning of life, the universe, etc.

The Bible says that they are in darkness and that their minds have been blinded. In fact the person who has not been born again is spiritually dead. God does not simply make us better, He takes that which was dead and makes it alive.

While watching a news program about a year ago, there was a small segment which stated that the dna of a neanderthal man had been tested and found to have no link to human beings. I've never heard anything further about this and feel the information has been suppressed by the scientific community which by and large embraces evolution.

It wasn't "suppressed". It's just not true, depending on what was meant by "no link" since the DNA certainly has been shown to have a significant percentage of similarities. Perhaps, once realized that the news people got it wrong, the "news" just died a natural death.

Because we don't come from monkeys and no scientist ever said that. They always say that we share a lineage with the great apes and monkeys, as evidenced by DNA, along with some fossil evidence. Monkeys branched off from the "tree" a long, long time ago, as they would say.

Hi Yolanda, it's true not everyone believes. We are blessed to believe because only the Holy Spirit can convict us of the truth. As for evolution and science - I know that God is the 'boss' of science and I would prefer to believe the Word of God concerning creation rather than the frequently erroneous words of scientists. We need to get down on our knees and thank our mighty God for drawing us to Him and the truth. God Bless. Damask
