Thank you for sharing your thoughts or the article here. I appreciated and i have asked the question you ask not only to myself, but in previous discussions, Is dating even something that we Christians should do? There is very beautiful and valuable information here for us all to chew on. I agree with almost all of it.

Brother David; Thank you for this insightful and very informative foundation for dating etiquite; I really like what you, and Anna Maurice say as well as sister genuine said ; but for me I think that a hug is ok and approprite sign of affection if I felt the need at the end of the first date. I also agree with going on the first date attending church, worhiping the Father together is a blessing and exactly what I will try to do this Midnight mas to pray in the Spirit and ask His wisdom and blessings and will; I want to do it right this time, in what I believe God will be blessed and glorified. I am not perfect, made many mistakes in my life; but this time it will be on Gods grounds & foundation I want His house built on a sure, solid foundation, and His will saught, then other dates may have something lighter; but asking His advice and will, every &  step of the way, I want it right this time round, only then can I have a hope for a lasting foundation... I think this may be best; but its my opinion, Be Blessed and a Blessing as you already are to many

for a couple that is not married, kissing and holding hands has its dangers. firstly most sexual immorality begins there. Jesus once said a man that looks at a woman lustfully has committed a sin so, holding hands and kissing is more than that. For me not dating at all is the option. Paul in 1st corinthians says the body should be used to give glory to God and not for sexual immorality. ofcoz a woman will leave her parents to be united with his wife and until then wait!! i know christians sometimes justify their behaviour but this one is just a big No!! in what way r you taking up your cross, denying yourself and following Christ if you want to kiss?
Zethu,

You have made a wise choice beloved.

I believe you have a valid argument that it can be dangerous , and weaken our resolve to stay strong under pressure, kudos sis!`

I don't find anything wrong with this; the mortives behind this also play a big part with this.
Hello Jerry, I agree its all about the motives, I say pray before you do anything. i have an example i had a reunion with an old xxx, person from my past, meeting up with him being saved & all it was so differ how i felt toward him he was not saved but i was happy to see him my motive was to share Jesus w/ him yes i did. he wanted me to kiss him, so i did just  because i felt sorry for him & i stopped right there it went no further we kept in touchI let him know nothing else can be to accept me as a friend, there was no lust no motive for want in it no i was not leading him on, & so we kept contact by telephone i visted him in the hospitial in NYC, he was having chemo treatments etc... well he recived jesus as his lord & his father did as well all through this it took one kiss & god worked it all together for his purposes.
Praise God beloved. Thank you for the testimony. Press on my sister.
