Food and the ability to pay for it-so much so that we get fat in Canada !

amen to that Robin. So many in this world do not even have that every day. one of the things I have been made very aware of and feel so blessed about is the ability to have the freedom here to go to church and worship our God without having to fear that the doors will be busted down and we will be persecuted and go to jail for it.

It is wonderful how our Lord will always provide for us Mapaleo and so many take for granted the things you speak of here. When you really think about it,those blessings you speak of are HUGE blessings because think about if we DID NOT have these things. Too many of us are running around and believe those things are "owed" to us and do not even view them as small blessings let alone the Big blessings they actually are. I haven't been on this for a long time . i am very blessed. In Jan. we got a better apt. In feb . we got a newer ,better car .I n march we were able to get a new bed ,as we were using a .daybed. he brought me through gall bladder surgury with no pain ,just a little discomfort sometimes. praise the lord..........

Oh wow. God is so very good to you and has shown Himself to you many times.Thankyou Eleanor,it is so wonderful to see and hear from those who's eyes recognize the work of God in their lives. Sis, I am in the process of making a list and it is getting to be a few pages long. Our God is so awesome and even when the storms in this life rage He is the calm throughout them all and leads us to blessings and victory every time when we learn to trust Him for our lives and know that He loves us and will provide all of our needs. Thankyou so much for sharing Eleanor. I thank God for your life and for blessing us all here.

He blessed me with a 100% go for surgery on Tuesday. A beautiful sunny warm day to enjoy at the beach with a breeze, the sparkling little diamonds of sunshine on the water. :) Oh, and the best part is I've lost 19 pounds since the first of the year and my A-1C blood test for diabetes came down from 7.2 in Feb. to 6.3 today!!! Woo hoo!!!

oh Maggie, with such beautiful descriptive words,have you ever thought about writing? I would love to read some if you did write as your description made me actually FEEL that I was in that place and I could just imagine it. One sign of a good writer is how they have the ability to make a person FEEL the emotion in a story and make something seem so vividly real. Your sense of humor blends into your writing beautifully as well. Hmmm, just a thought for you sis. This news of these blessings is also music to my ears? eyes? . I guess in this case its eyes being as how I am reading it. lol. GREAT NEWS MAGGIE!! PRAISE GOD,ALL GLORY TO OUR FATHER!

I agree to this Nancy , I am grateful everyday and I keep it in mind how GOD is there all the time helping me. Sometimes he is on the other side of the mountain working on a situation and I may think he is not answering my prayer , but he is doing it . This is where faith comes in. God always answer our prayers. But it may not be exactly how we thought . I feel blessed by GOD. We have to be grateful even during our hard times. He is leading us through it and we need to trust HIM. Nancy thank you for such an insightful post, God bless everyone, Gianni

Dear Nancy

 

I am so grateful to God that He let's no so called ' little sins ' slip by without at least a gentle rebuke. It would be horrible if He just kept allowing us to think were doing alright when we are stumbling or heading in the wrong direction. Instead He keeps steering us back to the goal He has for us.

 

This , to me , is one of the greatest acts of love and mercy that the Lord demonstrates nearly every day.
