tx, so mutch hw r u. thanx for ur encouragement my beloved ,
Christianity is all about love. God called us and saved us, not because we deserve it but because of His great love for us. And we are in turn commanded to love others in the same unconditional way. So, as a believer, you re called to walk in love. In the previous devotional, we began to look at the biblical definitions of love. Here, I want show you two more definitions.

Forgiveness

In addition to sacrificial giving, love also entails being able to forgive others. The word, 'forgive' is a compound word meaning to fore-give, that is giving in advance. I love the way Bishop Oyedepo puts it, he said, "Before people offend me, I have forgiven them. So their offences only come to meet my forgiveness." That is how to live. Ephesians 4:32 says, "And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." If you are always capitalizing on faults you will be frustrated because there are some people who will never apologize when they offend you. As a matter of fact, they are happy that you are hurt. And once Satan senses this weakness in you, he will ensure that people keep offending and hurting you, so as to destabilize your spiritual life. But if you are filled with love you will always forgive your offenders and by so doing you maintain an unbroken relationship with God.

Service
One other nature of love is service. True love will serve others. It is very unfortunate that in our societies today, many seek for significance in the place of relevance. They want to feel important rather than prove their relevance through service. When Jesus was on earth, He displayed love through service. He was relevant to the people by meeting their diverse needs; He healed the sick, fed the poor, etc. He was always moved by the needs of the people. Let love move you to become relevant in your family and in every place you are found. Seek to serve others as a proof of your love. One of the reasons God has blessed you is so that you can be a blessing to others by serving them with your means.

See What Love Will Do For You

The major benefit of walking in love is divine presence. God is Love so His presence will always be with those who walk in love. Ephesians 4:30-31 says, "And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice." Malice, bitterness, anger and evil speaking grieve the Spirit of God, and once the Holy Spirit is grieved, God's presence cannot be there. When you lack God's presence, the hedge becomes broken and the serpent begins to bite. This is the root of most business and family crisis, sicknesses and loses that people suffer. When you live in strife with people around you, nothing moves for you. You just keep labouring and sweating yet nothing works because the goodwill that should makes things work is lacking. As much as lies within your power, walk in love, follow peace with all men. Don't drive away God's presence from your life with anger and malice! Give Him His rightful place and no devil can have access to devour you or yours. Be blessed today!

Meditate on these: James 3:16, 1 John 3:17-18
I THINK SOMETIME GOD USES US TO HELP THAT PERSON BECAUSE IF WE LET THE CHRIST MIND BE IN US WE WILL LOOK OUT FOR THE OTHER INTERESTS AS WELL AS OUR AND LOVE THE WAY THAT PAUL TELLS US TO LOVE IN THE 13 CHAPTER OF FIRST CORINTHIANS MAY GOD CONTINUE TO LEADS US TO BE A WILLING VESSEL FOR HIM
Father, I just speak forth encouragement and a determination to work past difficulties ...once we are married...we have made a covenant and God will honor our covenant ..as we give it all to him ...he will help each to learn to love each other despite the many differences. I honestly know what it is like to be married to someone that seems so ill fitted to my ways...but because we both felt we honored God by our committment that we owe it to God to work our marriage out...for better or worse! It does take two but even when one or other is not trying very hard God is able to bring them around if you will pray and seek his face...your partner will come around. Now if you have already divorced as in many cases...then there is restoration...and many that do go on and remarry and find that it still takes work to make a lasting relationship. God is in the restoration business...and he will help you or other to choose wisely in the future in all areas but even when you feel that you have made the right choice...it is all about working together to make things work! It is about commitment to someone who perhaps will fail you in many ways and who you will also fail in many ways. We cannot look to our partners for fullfillment we must look to the Lord he is the Only one that can make us whole. Amen
Julia, thank you for encouragement. My husband and I have been separated for almost 3 years. but it started before that.At first I wanted to die from the pain. Now I praise Jesus for it. I feel that it is important to take responsibility for our own actions not the blame. Satan is the accuser . Jesus is the perfect example of selfless love. By the worlds standards my husband and I should be divorced. We even have biblical rights as well. Jesus said He allows it because of the hardening of our hearts.....but not His will. Drugs and adultery and his free will keep us apart. God is working on me deeply. On a daily bases i repent from the new things the Sprite shows me.God IS in the restoration business. His word says I will make ALL things new. God promised to reconcile my marriage. Now I have to wait on the Lord. PLEASE pray for me to have patience and renew my faith and trust in God. For HIS perfect timing not mine. I don't want to be out side of His will. Thanks Dawn
