Soul Food: Do Not Lose Hope… for we have God of HOPE….
Why are you downcast, o my soul? Why so disturbed w/in me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, My Savior and My God.—Psalm 42:5
Discouragement or depression strikes all of us once in a while. After all, depression is one of the most common emotional ailments.
One antidote for depression is to think about how much God Loves You and Blesses You as well. This will take your mind off the present situation and give you Hope that with God’s Help, it will improve! For: the Lord is good to those whose HOPE is in Him, to the one who seeks Him. (Lamentations 3:25) For: those who HOPE in the Lord will renew their strength. They will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint. (Isaiah 40:31)
So, praise be to the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead ( 1 Peter 1:3)
May the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with HOPE by the power of the Holy Spirit! (Romans 15:13). And kiss those blues god-bye forever! Amen!

Praise the lord .Glory to His mighty name that is above every other names.The name of our Lord Jesus is astrong tower that the rightious run to it and they are safe.When i go through the valley of discouragements,i have learnt to encourage myself inthe lord.David when he found the city of Ziglag burnt with fire and everything had been taken, his people, including his wives,people cried until they were no more,BUT he encouraged himself inthe lord and inquired from the lord whether he could recover, if he decided to pursue.
Inthe times of discouragements,lets wait upon the lord as mentioned.Do not continue crying but stop and pursue our inheritance.Many loose hope in these situations but them that get up and continue to pursue they always recover.You are not alooser until you stop pursuing.Pursue your blessings,your promises and you will get them and your strength will be renewed. -
