IS IT RIGHT FOR MINISTERS OF GOD TO COME OUT AND MAKE PERSONAL DECISIONS WHEN ANOTHER MINISTER IS PREACHING?

Could you be more specific please?

FOR EXAMPLE IF YOU ARE A MINISTER OF GOD AND DURING YOUR MINISTRATION YOU ASK FOR THOSE WHO ARE IN NEED TO COME OUT FOR PRAYERS. WOULD IT BE RIGHT FOR ME TOO A MINISTER OF GOD WHO IS SUPPOSED TO BE PRAYING FOR OTHERS ALSO COME OUT TO BE PRAYED FOR?

Why not? I know if I saw you stand forward for prayer, I'd pray for you. Ministers need prayer too. How are your members to learn to come forward for prayer if you don't?

Absolutely. Ministers are in need as much as lay people. If anything, they need more.

If you feel the need, or are led by the Holy Spirit, to go to the altar you should not be inhibited by what others might think.

This is a lot to think about...

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me--put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. (Philippians 4:8,9 NIV)

It's a lot to absorb and think about. He wanted them to learn, receive, hear, see and practice what they learned from his example. We're not the Apostle Paul, but I think he does show an example. It's very humbling and a lot to think about. How many of them read this Epistle and got their pantyhose in a bunch? He couldn't have been talking about me. I haven't strayed. Oh yes they had. Paul felt it necessary to recite who he was to them in chapter 3:5. If they had not strayed, Paul's pedigree would not have mattered to them.

Anyway, I don't know why all that came to mind. God bless you!

Ministers should lead by example so if they expect others to go to the altar, they need to be ready as well. And we're told to pray for one another...everyone of the faith, not just those in the congregation. Great leaders of the faith fell down and worshipped. Jesus knelt to pray.
