Was my Baptism done properly of do I need to be Baptized again?
I am 23 years old and from England, UK. I was Baptized around 10 years ago about the age of 13. My Baptism was among many that night and took place in a small swimming pool at a Church. During my Baptism I felt deeply submerged under water but I don't recall being advised to cover my nose first.
A couple of days after my Baptism my Mum (Mom) told me she wasn't sure if I had been fully submerged underneath the water, she said she thought she saw my nose sticking out from the water.
So whenever I think back on my Baptism now I feel doubt about it. I wonder if my Baptism was rendered valid by God or if he didn't deem it sufficient enough. This is where I would like your help, do you think Jesus saw my Baptism as genuine if my nose was above the water instead of underneath?
If not, do you propose I should be Baptized again and if so do you think Jesus/Holy Spirit would be okay with that, I don't want to chance the sin of Blasphemy, definitely not against the Holy Spirit.

Again we have to begin with a question. What is baptism and how does it relate to my salvation.
There are segments of the church that believe salvation requires baptism, but I do not see Scripture supporting that view apart from a couple of single verses that cause one to pause and ponder. We do not build doctrine from a loose verse here or there. We must look to the totality of Scripture to see what it says. Scripture supports salvation by grace through faith and not of works. We view baptism as an ordinance that the Lord Jesus gave to the church (Mat 28:19), but it does not ensure salvation, nor is one rendered unsaved because they were not baptized or they were baptized incorrectly. Water baptism is an act of obedience that we do that follows our conversion. Romans 6 talks some about this.
To keep this basic I will simply state that your salvation is not dependent on your baptism. Whether it was done according to the right mode without error is debatable, but not essential, for the greatest factor in baptism is not the mode, but rather the heart of the one who is being baptized. For we can baptize 1000 unbelievers and they we be just as lost after coming up out of the water as they were before they went in. The same is true of the believe in that if they already repented and received Jesus they are already saved before entering into the water, thus when they come out of the water they are just as saved as they went in. Again, there are some varied views on this, but I wish not to muddy the water (pun intended) by injecting ideas, more than I already have, that I do not see as valid. Others may wish to do so, but I will refrain.
Your salvation rests in Jesus only and not in the baptismal waters. Your obedience in following Him in baptism pleased Him, regardless of whether you were fully submerged or only sprinkled.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
Just to clarify, when I was baptized I wasn't just sprinkled but actually in a pool of water fully submerged but except probably not my nose. I just want to know if somebody asks me if I ahve been Baptized do I say yes or no, assuming that my nose wasn't beneath the water?
Also what do you think about Re-Baptism? is it a sin to be re-baptized?

If your heart was right with God when you were baptized 10 years ago you have been baptized. In most cases a re-baptism is simply viewed as a rededicating oneself to God. I have no problem with it, but is is not commanded of God.

I'm sure my heart was right with God when I was Baptized, I'm sure if I ever feel God prompting me to get Baptized again then it is what I will do.

I'm going to echo what LT has said. He is giving you great guidance.
But, I will add this: take time to just thank God and deeply seek His heart in the Word. God is seeking your best, He is not looking to crush you for some mistake, misunderstanding or technical error. That is NOT the God of the Bible. God is eager to have a vibrant relationship with you that builds your trust and faith in Him. Don't let anyone steal your joy or your hope in Christ. Don't let anyone defraud you of the wonderful gift Christ has given you. Seek Him. Thank Him. Rejoice in Him. Live free from any yoke of bondage by knowing Him and living for Him. He has placed great value in you.

Can you please state your opinion on this Re-Baptism situation though, I have warmed to the idea now and want to begin making plans to get it done
