Urgent Prayer !!!

I am from India. People in India are more concerned about their caste (Hindu theology which diversifies people based on their birth). My mother also belongs to such category. But I want to marry someone who is from a different caste who were once considered untouchable. I prayed to God to bring me a spiritual and loving girl into my life. I registered myself in several matrimonial websites. As I requested the spiritual life of many girls on that site, there was only one girl who talked about her spiritual life and was more than willing to spend her life with me.

But in India parents permission is more important than children's wish about their life partner. They did not specify any reason but rejected my proposal a year back. And they were looking for other bridegrooms but they could not get one till the end of last month. But when I thought I would approach them again, suddenly there was another person whom their parents fixed for her wedding.

Coming 13-18th I am going to attend a Christian meeting. The girl I thought I am going to marry is going to get engaged to someone else on that meeting. I prayed to God about it. Some people in the prayer revealed, "You have a very small plan, but God has a greater plan than you think". So far God has not revealed if I should marry this girl or not. Since she is having 2 sisters after her she has decided to accept whatever her parents chose to do, though she likes me very much.

I have decided to give everything into God's will. At the same time the prophet also revealed that God would guide me clearly to find my wife. And I am praying to God to "STOP HER ENGAGEMENT IF SHE CAN FIT INTO GOD"S PLAN FOR MY LIFE, OR ELSE GUIDE ME TO FIND ANOTHER GIRL FROM DIFFERENT CASTE WHO WILL FIT INTO GOD'S PLAN FOR ME" .

I am also praying if someone could convince my mother to come out of her Caste feelings.

God's guidance could be clearly understood by me, if her engagement gets stopped (Since myself and herself are not much happy about her engagement and I already know about her spiritual life and love for me).

In case God wants to make it clear by allowing her to be engaged with another person, then I do not know how I will be able to understand God's will in finding a life partner. I found this girl from matrimonial site, so I don't want to register in matrimonial site again and get into similar problem of girl loving me and parents rejecting me. God should show me a clear way of finding a different caste girl who will fit perfectly into HIS PLAN FOR MY LIFE.

Ready, the thing that kept coming to mind as I was reading this is how much did you lean on the Lord with everything? I'm sorry if this sounds really harsh but did He lead you to go on the internet & open up an account on that site? Was it a Christian site? I think no since this was the only lady that talked about her spiritual life. Did He lead you to this lady? These are things you need to ask yourself. Sometimes, when we are in dire situations, we feel things we are doing is in the will of God when in reality it is in our will & then we ask God to bless our mess. I understand things are so much more different there in India then in the US or the United Kingdom, however, God is the same. His will is His will regardless of caste, culture, color, or country. We try so many times to make things happen on our own without asking Him first & then we end up with a broken heart. No, you should not look on the internet for a woman. The internet is crazy & the next woman you meet may not be so nice. Allow God to lead you to the one He wants you to have as the others have said. When you asked Chip about loosing your loved one, are you referring to the lady? You need to try to ask yourself if the Lord led you to her in the first place? I will be praying that the Lord will give you the love of your life & when she comes, you won't have any questions nor will caste or rupees matter. Hang in there & lean on the everlasting arms of God instead of the world's ways of finding a mate.

A great verse that has helped me through life is this one in Proverbs:

Pr 3:5-6

5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. KJV

This is very tough to do but in the end you will be much better off to trust God in this entire situation. Sometimes things do not work out like we think they should. Do you believe God is sovereign. He is certainly not dependent to any kind of cultural system. I think sometimes it is easier for Him to work through a system like yours than one like ours here in the states. I do pray that our Lord will be with you through all these trials. His primary purpose is that you will grow to become the person He wants you to be. Blessings to you. I know you are hurting but Jesus will be with you. That is His promise.

I'VE BEEN BY MYSELF 14 YRS., MY LORD TAKES THE BEST CARE OF ME AND MY G-DAUGHTER I'M RAISING. ONE DAY I WAS PRAYING AND LATER ON, I HEARD THE LORD'S VOICE VERY CLEARLY, HE SAID, "KAY, YOU PUT HAVING A HUSBAND BEFORE ME."
