All About GOD

All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

For the last 2 years I have watched my sister Robbie Lynne go from being someone who was all alone(other than family) and very unhappy. To being married and an instant mother to a BEAUTIFUL CHILD and VERY HAPPY. For at least the last 4 or 5 that has bothered me, NOT because I don't want her to be happy because I DO want her happy. But because I want the same thing for my life. I want to feel loved not just by family and friends but by that special someone. I would give anything in this world to be married. Or at least have a boyfriend who doesn't mind not getting married but still loves me unconditionally. But at the same time let's face it NO ONE wants the burden of having to take care of a woman like me. So I guess I will just be alone FOREVER. :'(

Rue,

I read some on your page. You have had it pretty rough. I do pray for you to be able to go to the next level in your life. I am going to encourage you to do some things necessary to becoming that person ready for a husband. You could stay in your present situation and have to be commended for your spirit, your fight, your love for God and family, etc. I notice that you are calling yourself Baby Girl Rue. I also noticed your mom called you Randee Sue. My prayer is that you will be able to move on from where you possibly are and get prepared for that next part of your life. I have little to say since I have not had to battle anything close to what you have had to battle. I do notice that you have many positive attributes.

You have already done enough to be a blessing to God's family., You are a poster child most definitely. But, I don't think you want to be a child anymore if you are thinking about marriage. Perhaps God is ready for you to move on to the next level. You are a great communicator. I pray that God will show you the way to that next level if that is for sure where you want to go. I noticed someone talked about the plans God has for you. I don't know what those plans are but God does and it sounds to me like He is wanting to take you there.

I noticed on your page that under employment you answered N/A. Maybe that is a place to start. You might change that to unemployed but looking. I certainly don't have any answers but I will join all these others in prayer that God will show you how to get to where He wants to take you. In Jesus name.

Roy, I have three grown kids so I know a little of the slang. Baby girl is actually a compliment to a girl. It's not calling yourself a baby. A boyfriend calls his girlfriend his baby girl. I call my 21 year old daughter my baby girl. Just thought I'd throw that in on the sidelines to get you caught up with today's English Language. lololol

Anytime brother. I have to stay on my game because I still have 3 left to raise.

Congratulations on your engagement Martyp

Dear Rue...I feel your frustration, but I still think God has a special plan and purpose for you...He makes no mistakes. I was quite surprised this morning when I read through one of my devotionals titled: When You Feel All Alone. Immediately I was convicted to set it aside for you to read. Here it is:

"Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning." Psalm 30:5

WHEN YOU FEEL ALL ALONE

A Bob Gass Devotional

It's hard when you work all day, come home, tired, and sleep with your arms wrapped round a pillow wishing you had someone to hold. No amount of makeup can hide that kind of loneliness. It's the pain of having so much to say, but nobody to say it to.

But God knows your plight - and He cares! That's why He found Eve for Adam, Boaz for Ruth, and Rebecca for Isaac. That's why His Word deals so honestly with real issues, like sexual frustration, loneliness, and feelings of failure.

Voids and thirsts come to us all. How we fill them, is what determines our ability to survive and to find happiness. If you're struggling on your own to face the challenges, then you need to know - you're not alone! "The God of all comfort" is with you.

No one understands like Jesus. His family rejected Him, His disciples forsook Him, and the world crucified Him. And His Word says He can be "...touched with the feeling of our infirmities" and that He was "...in all points tempted as we are" [Heb 4:15].

He knows when you feel like nothing you do is ever enough; He knows that besides being a parent/wife/husband etc.  - you're still a person. He knows, He understands, and He invites you to come to Him today.

This season you're in won't last forever. A new one is coming, with new relationships, new experiences, and new joy. Until then remember, "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning" [Psalm 30:5]. That's His Word to you today.

END OF DEVOTIONAL

It's time to take advantage of those many positive attributes Roy has mentioned, because God placed them there. Don't let the devil fill you with his lies and deceit. At the right time, and in accordance with God's will, He will send the right person to you. This is something you cannot and must not force, for it's not God's way.

I also like Marty's sound advice. In due course, when Father has fully prepared you, He will grant your heart's desire. Be patient! Be the person God intended you to be: a beautiful shining light for Him!

Be Blessed! Be Comforted!

Love and Hugs,

Your Sister-in-Christ!

BG, I really don't know what to say. My life has never had even close to the obstacles as yours. I can say that you're in my prayers & you are an inspiration. Keep climbing those walls girls. Continue striving for higher as you learn to lean on Him more. Everyone's path is different & sometimes when we look at others' paths, jealousy can seep in which makes our path seem much thornier then what it really is with the Lord's guidance & strength. Hang in there precious saint. He loves you & desires you to have the desires of your heart. I love you.

Wow! There are some really good people on this website. I agree with all here. God has something special for Rue and these words of advice are making me weep. I sense the Holy Spirit is mightily working and Rue, you had better get ready for some really great things. God loves you so very much.

praying the Lord will fill the desires of your heart....

It sounds like this is really hard. I know it's impossible to see what's ahead. You said,  NO ONE wants the burden of having to take care of a woman like me. It helps to be able to acknowledge your own pain and uncertainty as you are doing here and we do care. I have felt some of what you're feeling as far as depression goes and I worry my husband will want to stop taking care of me ... but I know that I personally have not been through what you've been through and are going through. You've had to deal with a lot. You're amazing and I know God is working in your life. He will not leave you comfortless.

Baby Girl, I will pray for you right now. I understand how hard these things are, but believe me, if you focus on the Lord and strengthening your walk with Him, all the other things will come when the time is exactly right.

Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that You instill in this woman a peace that passes all understanding, I pray that you will make Yourself known to her so she may see all the good things you have given her. Help her to not want what is not for her to have at this time. Let her learnt patience and contentment with the lot You have given to her, for You are all knowing and all powerful, and as You promise in Jeremiah, You want the very best for us, but let us realize that it is all in your time.
In the Lord Jesus Christ' name , Amen

May you be blessed.

Lord, I ask for Baby Girl Rue and this depression. We pray for a lifting of this, and for peace....

Lord, we ask for Baby Girl Rue to fix her eyes upon Jesus, and for her to draw closer toYou.

We ask for a rest from all these thoughts, and to rest in the Lord, in Jesus name, amen.

 Father,

Help Rue to overcome the lies of Satan, I'm sure she knows people who are like her and they are married. I pray that faith and hope will rise up in her heart. I pray that she will fill her mind with Your Word and get rid of these thoughts that are causing her to be depressed. No matter our situation You promised that this world and all the tribulation we encounter will not take away Your peace or joy unspeakable. I pray that she will learn to receive grace in Your Presence and wholeness. I pray that she will grow in the knowledge of You and become a witness to the those around her. Send people her way who will be committed friends and a man of God who will love her as You love her.
