Now you know why the message is addressed to God's
Children this morning! For truly those who love and
worship God are His children, FOR IN HIM WE LIVE AND
MOVE AND HAVE OUR BEING. AS SOME OF YOUR
OWN POETS HAVE SAID, WE ARE HIS OFFSPRING.
( ACTS 17:28 ) Think about that the next time you are
feeling low, or are depressed and worried because of a
problem that you are facing. I'll bet that problem won't
seem so big if you do!

So friend, as a member of God's Great Family,
never feel alone and think that there is no one to turn too,
FOR HE HIMSELF HAS SAID, "I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU
NOR FORSAKE YOU." SO WE MAY BOLDLY SAY "THE
LORD IS MY HELPER; I WILL NOT FEAR. WHAT CAN
MAN DO TO ME?" ( HEBREWS 13:5-6 ) Therefore He will
always be there to love you, and guide you through any
difficulty!

Now as the Prophet David wrote: FOR YOU ARE MY ROCK
AND MY FORTRESS; THEREFORE, FOR YOUR NAME'S
SAKE, LEAD ME AND GUIDE ME. ( PSALM 31:3 ) So,
TRUST IN HIM AT ALL TIMES, YOU PEOPLE; POUR OUT
YOUR HEART BEFORE HIM; GOD IS A REFUGE FOR US.
A refuge indeed! Amen. ( PSALM 62:8 )

One Step At A Time

One step at a time is the best way to go
When going through life and traveling in the direction of your dreams
The best way to get ahead is the simpliest way:
Take one step at a time
Don’t look over your shoulder
If you do, you’ll feel the weight of all your yesterdays upon you

We often face troubling times in our lives that
cause us to worry, and lose sleep. As a child of God you
have Him at your side, holding your hand, and guiding
your pathway through those times. For, THE LORD IS
GOOD, A STRONGHOLD IN THE DAY OF TROUBLE;
AND HE KNOWS THOSE WHO TRUST IN HIM.
( NAHUM 1:7 )
He will never abandon HIS Children, throughout
their entire lives. For He is always with us no matter
what we may face, as He further promised: WHEN YOU
PASS THROUGH THE WATERS, I WILL BE WITH YOU;
AND THROUGH THE RIVERS,* THEY SHALL NOT
OVERFLOW YOU. WHEN YOU WALK THROUGH THE
FIRE,* YOU SHALL NOT BE BURNED, NOR SHALL
THE FLAME SCORCH YOU. ( ISAIAH 43:2 )
[*Rivers and *Fire in the verse represent difficulties in our
lives]
Therefore, FEAR NOT, FOR I AM WITH YOU; BE NOT
DISMAYED, FOR I AM YOUR GOD. I WILL
STRENGTHEN YOU, YES, I WILL HELP YOU, I WILL
UPHOLD YOU WITH MY RIGHTEOUS RIGHT HAND.
( ISAIAH 41:10 )
So the next time you face troubling times, do as Jesus
said: "LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED; YOU
BELIEVE IN GOD, BELIEVE ALSO IN ME." (JOHN 14:1)
Then WHEN YOU LIE DOWN, YOU WILL NOT BE
AFRAID; YES, YOU WILL LIE DOWN AND YOUR
SLEEP WILL BE SWEET. ( PROVERBS 3:24 )

I would be honored if you would be my friend. Welcome to the greatest website on the internet. Have you ever read the story of the prodigal son in the bible? AllaboutGod.com is another wonderful source of information. You can find the story there with an explanation if you like. Jesus' Love is unlike any Love we have ever known. God gave us only son to die on across for our sins. There are truly no words in our languages thank can truly describe the Love of God.
If you need strength you have come to a good place. God needs you dear friend. As you learn and listen to the Holy Spirit you will come to understand this. Only you can make the choice God's light of life or darkness. There is strength in numbers Thomasina. We are here for you sister.

Thank you Thomasina for being such a beautiful encourager. By the Grace of God my life has purpose and I am living with intent on pleasing God. He is truly my rock! I would be completely lost without Jesus! Jesus has so much to offer you. Trust in Him and lean not on your own understanding. For He is with you everywhere you go. The strength you need comes from God. Hand it over to Him...continually. God wants you to. When you stand in Christ you will be Victorious.

Your childhood sounds very similiar to mine regarding our 'dads', or lack there-of! I am so thankful to God that He is my heavenly father, and takes care of all my needs, and loves me so much, no matter what I have done. I know ---It is all for His Glory. This is His story and He just wants us to be a part of it.

My mom remarried a wonderful man when I was 18 years old. They are both also members here on TheNET.

I also Praise God that you are here, and opening up asking God to help you. I pray that you will find what you are seeking. Jesus is all that you need. I pray that you will know that down to the depths of your soul.

This is Paige, another moderator here on TheNet, and Im very blessed to have you join our community of believers, as we grow in the love and wisdom of our Lord . Its soo neat to meet new friends here from all around the world . You will find TheNet a safe place to get to know other believers and share your love and life in Christ.

I really like it here because its a great online source of Christian information,and fellowship. When I find it hard to get out of the house or hard to get to church, I get online and get "filled" with His word and all the other believers and thier prayers. Its soo good to know that when Im hurting there are others that are too and in need of the same love and support I do from the Lord. Praise God for His work on the Cross!!! We are all one body now and can work together to heal and help other members.

Also, Id like to invite you to come over and visit us in the Womens Group where
women from all ages and all walks of life come to encourage and be encouraged
to help, and be helped, to share thier wisdom with other women , and get prayer that
we all need as women to continue in our faith and the path God has set before us all.

Sista T, It sounds like the Lord is stirring you. I pray that your craving for HIM is stronger than the desire of the chiva?. Satan lives in that stuff, and I know first hand. Are you needing some support going through the addiction demons?

In reading your posts you cannot be that bad off if you are making it in school and working. You are still functional. You can make the choice to accept that knockong at your hearts door; and it is not going to be an easy decision due to the past of "giving in" but think about this; you cannot do it alone, only the power of Jesus Christ will free you of the madness of addiction (and you know it from your post).

Are you in crisis now? If so go to Jesus in prayer, forgetting the Religious teachings and seek HIM . I am a night owl who will discuss this all night if you need. I am praying for you. A fellow struggler. rix
