All About GOD

All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

I think I'm being called to service part 2

I really hope the Lord will somehow use my "disability" [not sure what else to call it] for His sake and to somehow tie it into all of this concerning my purpose.

I really hope He will use my "problems" for His glory and so I can help others.

I have trouble with communication skills. I can talk but the single from my brain to my mouth easily gets lost. That's how I can know an answer but not be able to talk about it. Or I can talk way too much...that can get me into trouble like that one day with uncle Jim. He couldn't get a word in edge wise because of me.

I have trouble with my hearing. I can mishear words easily. I have really good hearing though,it's very sensitive.

I have problems with my motor skills. I can't open a can of soup, ride a bike, swim, tumble or summersault. Push ups have always been extreamly difficult to do. And I run crooked.

I can't drive a car or cook.

I have bad circulation in my legs. That's why I get cold feet easily.

It seems ever since I was little I've had digestive problems. I used to be able to eat a solid slice of cheese but had trouble with milk. I've gotton worse;now I can't drink any milk,no yogurt and cheese is limited [no solid, only melted to an extent]. That and I'm limited on how much ice cream I can have,

I don't understand it. I've been able to eat peanut butter cups but when I've had actual peanut products that messed with my breathing a little.

I know I'm allergic to blueberries and think I'm probably allergic to blackberries.

My skin breaks out very easily from hand soaps.

In all of this I hope Jesus is glorified. :~)

I'll pray for you brother that Jesus helps you to be freed from the paganism you haven't been able to get rid of.

Cool, granpa is Cherokee, I have local friends who are and we talk about herbal traditions and such; will pray for Adam; ya God has watched over me and I sometimes wonder why, by all accounts I should have died one day, a lot of others did. Same here, both sets of grans died in my early teen years, they taught me both Irish and Scottish Gaelic all the legends, mythology, fairy tales and primitive farming. Picked up a streak of paganism 9-13 that I have never, ever been able to completely escape of. Small writeup on grans and how mom & dad met, too big to write here, will send as message.

I never got to meet grandma Lucy [mom's mom] nor grandpa Lewis [dad's dad.] They both died in the 80's and I was born in 92. Grandma Phyllis died in May of 2005. I've regretted playing those stupid Pokémon video games while at the nursing home. I was only 12 and 13 [I say 12 and 13 because she died in May and I was born in March]. I should have payed more attention to her. I was a young and not so bright teenanger [since she died a couple months after I turned 13]. I didn't expect her to die. I guess I just expected her to stay in that nursing home. I don't think I was thinking about the next day let alone that grandma would eventually die.

You're Irish and Scottish, too? So, am I. lol I'm Irish from my dad's dad [grandpa was also German]. And I'm Scottish from my mom's mom. And than my other grandma was fully Italian and my grandpa [the only one who is still living, please pray for his salvation. His name is Adam] he is Cherokee.

God her certainly watched over you. :~)

Always had a constitution like a horse from my Irish and Scot grandparents which was a good thing given my tastes for running around in a woods half naked. Always get sick a few days every year as weather changes from warm to cold, turned to pneumonia once when I was 6 so that was my 2nd hospital stay;  7 was second for chickenpox (ruined my eyesight) and 8 for tonsil removal. Jump to age 20 for bullet to face  and 21, a stake through left foot and ankle as souvenier from Marines. Almost helpless without my glasses, but tradeoff from chickenpox was giving me way high night vision. I think God blessed me with good health since I'm such a pathetic whiner when I get sick and He didn't want to listen.

That's the really nice thing about on here. You guys show the love of Christ and I don't have to worry about being put down or treated like a dog.

But, yes, a lot of progress just this year from discussions of yours I've seen - lot of good, caring people here on AAG that won't try to score points by cutting you down. Almost perfect place to visit often and hang around: would be perfect if they served decent  coffee house coffee and sweet cakes/rolls.

My son had all sorts of health issues growing up (besides the point of not supposed to live past a week when born) that were do to serious "family" issues (like 5 stepfathers in 6 years) that caused a lot of stress, anxiety, self esteem problems that all were reflected in his physical health. Once he got out of that disaster at 18 and moved back to Ohio, he got much better due to better diet, good sleep patterns, and just being in a healthy living environment: my mom spoiled the crap out of him, as I did.

Licorice sticks to my teeth, coffee hurts my stomach and I don't like tea. lol :-)

I do like rice with cheese though [I can have cheese to an extent if it's melted]. I can have eggs only to an extent because if I eat too much of even scrambled eggs I feel sick.

You're right. It has been nice to open up on here. :-) The Lord has healed me so much in a year! I came hear sometime during April of 2012.

Pfff. healthy foods and such!  Just eat cinnamon gummy bears, red licorice, juju fish, anything chocolate, drink lots of coffee and tea and you are on my diet where the basic food groups are sugar, chocolate and caffeine!       Well, if not that, then lots of salads, other veggies, fruit, cheese, rice and fish with some chicken thrown in; eggs are marvelous source of protein, can be fixed so many ways.
Bless you for continuing to open up to your AAG friends, since you have been here it seems to have become easier for you.
