Growth

Growth in the Lord is vital. It begins with faith and then culminates into love for others. To keep growing we need to know and focus our total mind on our God. We need to keep following him and continual to remember what he is teaching us from his Holy word. Let us remain diligent in a faithful obedience to our God.

Leadership and organisation

Nehemiah’s life is an example of leadership and organization. Nehemiah gave up a comfortable and wealthy position in Persia to return to his fractured homeland of his ancestors Israel. He rallied his fellow country men to rebuild Jerusalem’s wall. In the face of fierce opposition, he used wise defense measures to care for God’s people and kept the project going on up to its completion. More for the sake of Gods kingdom we must pray, persevere, and sacrifice as did his servant Nehemiah.

Obedience

Without any special preparations, education, background, or upbringing, Amos the servant of God obeyed his call to go to prophesy to Gods people Israel. Obedience is the test of a faithful servant of God. Are we also obeying our creator?

DEUS TEM MELHOR

Pride makes us self – centered and leads us to conclude that that we deserve all we can see, truth, or imagine. It creates greedy appetites for far more than we need. We can be released from our self – centered desires by humbling ourselves before God, realizing that all we really need is Gods approval. When the Holy Spirit fills us we see that these worlds’ seductive attractions are only cheap substances for what God has to offer. Things seen are temporal than things not seen.

GOD'S GRACE

I wonder how many people will delete this without reading it because of the title. It is a shame but this message is very true. Hope you are all as blessed as I was by this story.

There once was a man named George Thomas, pastor in a small New England town. One Easter Sunday morning he came to the Church carrying a rusty, bent, old bird cage, and set it by the pulpit. Eyebrows were raised and, as if in response, Pastor Thomas began to…

WE CANT IGNORE GOD AND LIVE

To ignore God’s love and guidance results in Sin and invites his wrath. If we walk by our own wisdom and reject Gods we become self – sufficient and the result of self – sufficient is sufficient torment. When we place confidence in our own intelligence, appearance, or accomplishments instead of God we risk torment later when these strengths fade away because the always do and the will do for you can escape it or deny it.

EXTERIOR DOESNT COUNT TO GOD

Saul was tall, handsome, strong, rich and powerful but all this was not enough to make him someone we could emulate. He was tall physically but he was small in God’s eyes, he was handsome but sin made him ugly, He was strong but his lack of faith made him weak. He was rich but was spiritually bankruptcy. He could give orders to many but couldn’t command respect or allegiance. Saul looks good on the outside but he was decaying on the inside. A right relationship with God and strong…

FINAL RESULT OF SIN IS DEATH

Justice and Equity are very important to our God but so are Mercy and Grace.

After 37 years in the desert the Israelites forgot that their wandering were a result of their parents and their sins. They could not accept the fact they brought their problems upon themselves so they blamed Moses for their condition often our troubles result from our own disobedience or lack of faith we can not blame God for our sins until we face this reality we will have little peace and no…

WHO IS LIKE OUR GOD JEHOVA

Cyrus king of Persia was not a Jew but the God of heaven worked through him to return the exiled Jews to their homeland. He treated the Jews with mercy. Although not a servant of Yahweh Cyrus was used by God. He gave the proclamation allowing the return of Gods people and he gave them protection, money, and the temple articles taken by Nebuchadnezzar. When we are face with difficulty situations and feel surrounded, outnumbered, overpowered or out classed we must remember that Gods…

PRIDE BLINDS

Even when confronted by point blank with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ's deity some people refused to believe. Even today they are refusing. These eye witnessed all the miracles our Lord did but they refused as a matter of fact they did not only rejected Jesus, they plotted his murder. They were so hardened that they preferred to reject God's son rather than admit that they were wrong. Let us beware of PRIDE if we allow it to grow it can lead us into enormous sin.
