32Do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks or the church of God (1 Corinthians 10:32)
Today I visited an acquaintance. We were supposed to be visiting the Healing Room Christchurch but it was closed because of the school holidays. Upon my arrival I saw his state of being was not too flash. He
felt rejected by society and most of all by what are supposed to be his
brothers and sisters…

In a world that can wear us down mentally, physically, and spiritually, how do we renew our strength? What do we do in the face of too many projects, too many temptations, too many conflicts, and too many other soul and energy-sapping dynamics at work in life?
The prophet Isaiah ministered to a nation on the verge of collapse. It wasn't just… Continue

Do you wear a veil? More on 2 Corinthians 3—the end.
I’ve been thinking more about the veil . . . in my last briefing, I referenced Exodus 34, and I should like to take you there again.
Stand with me and follow Aaron’s gaze, as he looks to see the familiar…

A sixth principle regarding our level of authority in prayer is the decisions of others. When I am praying about the situations of other individuals, their actions can determine the authority level I possess to accomplish a breakthrough. For example, sin in that person's life or an unresolved issue between him and God may affect how much authority I have to lay hold of a biblical promise for him.
Others' actions can even at times affect an answer to prayer for us personally. (Second Samuel…

While reading this Psalm tonight I thought how fitting of a scripture to read this day. The Lord had placed in my life and given me the opportunity to behold His perfect timing in someone’s life and lift the needy out of the dust and place in their eyes, tears of joy. I watched someone’s faith in God grow from the size of a mustard seed to sprouting a few green leaves and it did a lot for my own faith as well. If the peace and fulfillment I am feeling this night that God has placed around and…

Life Lessons Learned From a Wounded Wrestler
Genesis 32:22-32:32
INTRODUCTION:
Allow me to set the stage for you. Jacob had not seen his brother, Esau, in a long time and he was very apprehensive about their meeting. You see, many years earlier Jacob tricked his brother out of his birthright and stole his blessing. Because of this Esau was planning to kill Jacob. Jacob’s mother found out about Esau’s plan and she…

this weekend i was going about my motherly duties when God started talking to me. He told me to write it down, so i did. then He told me to share it. i wasnt very excited about sharing it because i am still a new christian and not everyone that knows me knows that i serve Christ now and honestly i was scared of being rejected. but i prayed about it all day and God did not change His mind. He kept pushing and kept telling me to share it. so, finally before i went to bed that night i said ok…

The Law didn’t fail—we did.
The Law relied on us to be faithful, and we couldn’t be. ‘Truth is, we needed a whole new system . . . one based on the righteousness of
another, not our own; we needed what only God could have conceived of—…

The fifth principal determining our level of authority is our ability to listen to God and discern His will. Delegated authority has everything to do with representation. We receive authority from the one we represent. Obviously, we must know what he/she expects or desires of us. ( 1 John 5:14-15 ) " This is the confidence which we have before Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests…

"
Claiming the Promises"is not faith. Faith already has it ."claiming" proves that one dose not have it yet .It is unbelief attempting to act like faith.Faith says, "Thank You Father. " Faith has it . Faith has arrived .Faith stops praying and begins to praising. Unbelief quotes the Word, but dose not act upon it .We call… Continue

"Then I will raise up for Myself a faithful priest who shall do according to what is in My heart and in My mind..." (1 Samuel 2:35).
Are we living as one whom God will raise up? Do we know what is in the heart and mind of God? Are we spending the time in prayer and the Word to hear His voice? Do we truly know the Lord? As we read through 1 Samuel chapter 2 we see that Eli's sons did not know the Lord. They saw their position as priests as a means to earn a living and satisfy…

Well, there is not a lot I can think of to say, to be honest, about this Psalm except that two very positive and strong words were spoken to me while I was reading this tonight. FORGE AHEAD!! Oh wait; I was just led to find a few more words! (smiles) There is one verse that did stand out to me in this Psalm though and that is verse 4. To me it seems most vital for us all to be a light that arises in the darkness. Shine that light of Jesus wherever and whenever we can with every opportunity that…
