I would like to know what everyone thinks about the Lost Books Of The Bible and the Dead Sea Scrolls.
I am thinking of studying them.

Why Good Works Aren't Enough
ROMANS 3:10-12
Some people believe that good works are like a "get out of hell free" card. What these folks do not realize is that an individual isn't condemned by the Lord because of the things he does. He is condemned because of what he is—a person with a spirit bent away from God. We choose to sin because it is our nature to do so.
To find proof that mankind does not naturally obey, all one has to do is observe any two-year-old child. Why does a…

Our church is about to get a new name. We are Pentecostal. Our previous name was Pentecostal Protestant Church. So I am looking for the Hebrew or Aramaic words for Anointed church, or blessed or something like that. Does anyone have any other suggestion to a wow name for our church? But must be easy to pronounce.

It is inescapable. Much as they were worshiped by the ancients, we continue to honor them to this day. Their names are all about us Our speech is imbued with references to them. The companies with which we do business are associated with them. They are the
Titans.

"Not that I've already obtained it, or have already become perfect, but I press on in order that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus . . . I press onward th goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." [Philippians 3:12-14]
I will win because I keep the finish-line clearly in mind. In fact, the gospel should be my
consuming passion. Like Moses and Paul (Heb 11:24-26),
I MUST be looking toward the… Continue

“The value of your work”
Early this morning I was walking down a side street to get to prayer meeting, and I noticed something I had never seen. Larger than life was a huge vacant lot, more or less obscured by a city-constructed fence. I had walked by it many times, but this morning I saw it. I kept looking to surmise what might have been there once, and also mused about why it is no longer there, and why this huge piece of real estate sits neglected and unused. I could see painted parking…

“ How Impious our Thoughts “
I can’t speak for others, but I know I’m not alone; 1Co 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to humanity. God is faithful and He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation He will also provide a way of escape, so that you are able to bear it.
Periodically, men and women in the 5 fold ministry go through things, we tell no one about as telling someone generally means weakness. This… Continue

If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. Colossians 3:1-3
I have been a Christian for many years now, and in all that time God has never once asked me, "Pam, what do you want to do?" The Lord always tells us what He wants us to do. Also, the Lord never adjusts His…

A COMMON PURPOSE: being a link
Paul diagnosed the immaturity of the Corinthian believers by showing their divisiveness was due to their spiritual immaturity. In this passage he puts the leaders in their rightful place —the servants’ quarters. Only One was due the place of supremacy. Take a look:
“What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Servants through whom you came to believe, as the Lord assigned to each. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither the one who plants…

According to tradition, he lived to be nearly 100 years old. One of the “sons of thunder,” he was given an apocalypse while in exile on the Isle of Patmos. His Gospel was recorded near the end of his long life and begins with a key understanding of who the Christ was. He was named John. It was John who would reveal the mystery of Christ as the physical representation of God’s Word — The Bible.…

One of the things guaranteed in life s that problems come. Trouble surrounds us We can't escape it. Trouble isn't some kind of punishment and we're not being singled out- it's just reality However, when it comes, we have a choice. We can hide from the trouble-and from the world-or we can turn to God. We can face it with God's strength. Another thing thats guaranteed is that Jesus overcame the world. He's greater than any trial that comes our way... Josh 1:18 Only be strong and of good…
