To all my brothers and sisters on AAG,
My apologies for not responding to your postings that I receive from time to time and also for not joining in on the chat room like I used to. The last couple of months have been both busy and most of all, uplifting. God has now started to answer my prayers, (and there has been many) and my involvement in our church has increased somewhat to say the least.
As some of you know, I am one of several techies that help to run the PA and…

Pride makes us self – centered and leads us to conclude that that we deserve all we can see, truth, or imagine. It creates greedy appetites for far more than we need. We can be released from our self – centered desires by humbling ourselves before God, realizing that all we really need is Gods approval. When the Holy Spirit fills us we see that these worlds’ seductive attractions are only cheap substances for what God has to offer. Things seen are temporal than things not seen.

I wonder how many people will delete this without reading it because of the title. It is a shame but this message is very true. Hope you are all as blessed as I was by this story.
There once was a man named George Thomas, pastor in a small New England town. One Easter Sunday morning he came to the Church carrying a rusty, bent, old bird cage, and set it by the pulpit. Eyebrows were raised and, as if in response, Pastor Thomas began to…

To ignore God’s love and guidance results in Sin and invites his wrath. If we walk by our own wisdom and reject Gods we become self – sufficient and the result of self – sufficient is sufficient torment. When we place confidence in our own intelligence, appearance, or accomplishments instead of God we risk torment later when these strengths fade away because the always do and the will do for you can escape it or deny it.

After reading a few of the recent posts I was reminded of something that I believe the Lord would like me to share. This is for all who feel unloved or unaccepted , or simply ' not good enough'. I have ( and to some extent still do )
experienced all of these in my life.
Sometimes the Lord teaches us the greatest truths in the simpliest situations. I guess ist's something like the simple things of God cofounding the greatest wisdom of men.
He taught me…

I guess that is the question that we all ask each and every day “Why God?” and lately I have been asking myself that same question. Why it is the more we try to do things according to the Lord we always end up more turned and confused then before. I for one am tiered of hearing put all your troubles in God’s hands and let him take all your sorrows always and only let the love of Christ our Lord feed your heart and soul. But I still cry out Why God? Why if it is so simple to just leave…

Genesis 14: 18 "And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God." KJV.
Our Lord CHRIST was a descendant of Abraham, but in the order of Melchizedek; this meaning of Royalty and High Priesthood. As I researched HIS Geneology I ran into the answer to this riddle (by no coinsidence). HE was a descendant of King David thru HIS…

Saul was tall, handsome, strong, rich and powerful but all this was not enough to make him someone we could emulate. He was tall physically but he was small in God’s eyes, he was handsome but sin made him ugly, He was strong but his lack of faith made him weak. He was rich but was spiritually bankruptcy. He could give orders to many but couldn’t command respect or allegiance. Saul looks good on the outside but he was decaying on the inside. A right relationship with God and strong…

Deuteronomy 6:4 Listen oh Israel The Lord is GOD, The Lord is ONE! Ot.
In the Gospel according to the Hebrews we have our Lord CHRIST saying; Even now My Mother The Holy (Ghost-Ruach) Spirit take me by one of My Hairs, and carried me away unto the great mountain Thabor... Ruach in Hebrew is A Femenine Gender. Life cannot be without either the man or the woman, but GOD is not split in two as we are because HE is trully ONE!
Life comes out from within; this meaning that…

Dear Heavenly Father, I am grateful that You are always there to help us in the upbringing of our children. Lord, forgive us when we have failed, and give us Your wisdom in dealing with the things our children embrace that are not of You. Help us to share the dangers of evil things in such a way that they will turn from them. Give us Your love and grace as we live our lives before them. Lord, give our children a wise heart so that they will be good examples in the world. Lord, deliver me…

Now that people are becoming more aware of my poetic efforts, interests are being expressed regarding the background of my poetry - in addition, to my spiritual muse. Back in the Spring of 1980, I graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a B.A. in Mathematics. I chose this discipline because it was my favorite subject in school. This poem is the first and only piece (to date), where I apply this learned knowledge.
Back in February of 2007, I found a poetry contest - its…

Now that people are becoming more aware of my poetic efforts, interests are being expressed regarding the background of my poetry - in addition, to my spiritual muse. In this installment, I briefly look at the crucifixion of Christ - an event central to the core beliefs of Christianity. This poem was composed in February 2007, in anticipation of that year's celebration of Resurrection Sunday (Easter).
If I were relegated to a single television channel, it would be the "History…

Justice and Equity are very important to our God but so are Mercy and Grace.
After 37 years in the desert the Israelites forgot that their wandering were a result of their parents and their sins. They could not accept the fact they brought their problems upon themselves so they blamed Moses for their condition often our troubles result from our own disobedience or lack of faith we can not blame God for our sins until we face this reality we will have little peace and no…

Isaiah 43:18 Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. v19 Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Our God does promise restoration, embrace His Word and know it is He who called us to His glory...God chose us before the foundation of the world and elected us to respond to His free Offering, John 6v35 Choose this day whom you will serve, let it be the…
