“My grace is enough for you.” 2Cor.12:9
Reflection:
How often in my life I have been deluded and deceived because I have trusted exclusively in myself or in others! Why don’t I turn directly to God?
He is Omnipotent. With His grace I will become invincible, even though the powers of hell rage against me.
Prayer:
“Most holy and almighty God, help me to turn to You in every need and danger. Arm me with Your strength, so that I…

Sorry for taking so long with my next chapter. Lynn kept a journal of every day while in the hospital. I wanted to make sure I had the dates right for the events that took place. As I was reading I came to a part where Lynn was concerned about the timing of her steroid shots. They initially told her that she would not be getting them until week 24. We were at week 23 and 2 days. Again I think of this as an act of God.
My mom was the first person that I called when Sean passed away.…

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for giving us instructions in the Bible on how to have a long and good life. Lord, I know that when I pray and ask you to watch over me and my loved ones, that You hear, and You answer my prayers. You are such a wonderful Father! I am grateful for Your love and watch care. I desire to walk in the pathway of life, so Lord, I would ask that You keep me on that path. Please warn me when I am straying, so that I do not get off the…

Remember to be listening.
8 The Lord called Samuel a third time, and Samuel got up and went to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.” Then Eli realized that the Lord was calling the boy. 9 So Eli told Samuel, “Go and lie down, and if he calls you, say, ‘Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.’ So Samuel went and lay down in his place. 1 Samuel: 8-9
Samuel was a young follower of God. He had never heard the Lord before this time but he was a trusted friend and follower of…

“Then you will lead a life worthy of the Lord.” Col.1:10
Reflection:
In my daily living I am necessarily occupied with ordinary and secular things. But I wish to sanctify everything I do through supernatural intentions.
In this way, my life will be pleasing to God and enable me to reach Him.
Prayer:
“Father, grant that my life may be a sacred service to You. May I always bring honor to You, and draw down Your blessings upon…

“We must not be afraid to speak the truth. We must give voice to what must be spoken, we must sound the alarm that must be sounded, we must address what must be addressed and so the message now will not be politically correct.”

Dear Father, I am grateful for your many blessings. Thank you for opening my eyes to Your truths and for your many promises to me. I do want to become wiser, so help me to study and understand the Bible. Open my spiritual ears to hear the things I need to understand at this time. Thank you for the knowledge You have already given me, but I desire to know more, so that I might know You more. I want my relationship with You to be closer than ever before.…

“No more than a branch can bear fruit of itself apart from the vine, can you bear fruit apart from Me.” Jn.15:4
Reflection:
Without Christ and His grace all our efforts and actions are in vain. With Christ and His grace everything, even the most insignificant act of our daily lives, becomes fruitful for all eternity.
My crop will be plentiful only if I abandon myself to His will and live the life of grace.
Prayer:
“My Savior, instill Your Divine…

“But the Lord keeps faithful; He it is Who will strengthen you and guard you against the evil one.” 2Thes.3:3
Reflection:
God’s faithfulness should be my comfort and my encouragement when I feel weary and disheartened in performing my duties.
My Father never abandons me. He helps me according to the measure of my faith.
Prayer:
“Faithful God, strengthen my faith. Make me willing and obedient in fulfilling Your will, even…

Dear Father, Thank you for Your many blessings. When I really stop to count them all, there is no end to every blessing that you have given me. Every breath I take is a blessing. It is a blessing to be able to see, hear, walk and talk. You have granted me blessings in the many friends and family that I have. Thank you also, for all the physical and material blessings I have. I do appreciate them, but they are overshadowed by Your blessings of peace, love and…

Verse 33 Proverbs makes many comparisons between good and evil, stating what will befall both the wicked and the righteous. Today, we think of cursing as foul language, or blasphemous words against God. Our definition usually is synonymous with swearing. Swearing is a form of cursing, but only a small portion of what it means in the Bible.
Biblically speaking, cursing is not only speaking evil of someone, but also invoking harm upon them. According to the Bible, evil comes upon a…

Yesterday, I had my camcorder. I had my plush stomach out. Ms. Taylor [who we used to call Einstein but she is now officially Ms. Taylor] decided she was going to get "rough" with the stomach. I took some pictures but this was my favorite one. I'm posting this just in case you need a good laugh. Enjoy.…
