Port to the Potter

Let’s take a trip to the Potter’s House this morning to examine how He does his thing. Two words are common in his vocabulary and they are clay and mould. The clay is the raw material used and the process is known as moulding. To mould is to shape a soft substance by pressing or rolling it or by putting it into a mould. The Potter has a picture in mind; an end result of the clay he is moulding,…

Heaven … just for someday?

Heaven … just for someday?

Good Day. Yes, it is a good day!

Heaven – the believer awaits and anticipates it, but only for ‘some day’… I mean, not until our lives have been fully lived, goals achieved, bucket lists at least partially scratched off. If we are honest, that is how most Christians think. ‘Well sure, I want to go to Heaven, but I would love to hold at least…

Joke 's on us!

My children bicker, argue and get on my nerves.sometimes they are sooo petty while i have bigger things to do.They pout, catch attitudes and show jealousy and favoritism.Does that sound alot like us?God is our father so i wonder how he looks on us when we behave badly with our siblings in Christ.Being a parent certainly gives me some insight, plus i get back some of the headache i must give God!

If God Brought You To It.... Trust That He Will See You Through It!!

I AM GOD.......I AM THE GOD THAT KEPT YOU ALL THIS TIME AND BROUGHT YOU TO THIS POINT IN YOUR LIFE.  AND I AM THE SAME GREAT GOD THAT WE SEE YOU THROUGH THIS!!!

Have you ever found yourself in a position where you may have felt as if God has left you?

You pray and pray and it seems as if God is not hearing your prayers or if the situation is just getting worse?

You start to waiver in your faith and start to think that there is no one out?

IF SO…

Best Day Ever … what will I see?

Best Day Ever … what will I see?

Since I made the claim that the ‘best day ever’ is the day we see the Lord’s face -- the day we draw our last breath on earth and our first in Heaven… perhaps we need to take a closer look. After all, there is no greater hope than the hope of Heaven, God’s promised destination for those who love him.

So what is Heaven like?

In Heaven, there is no sickness or pain or suffering.

There is no cancer, no diseases, no…

WHAT IF !

What if truth is gone, that no person speaks it anymore,

misdirecting those who are seeking, instead of rich making poor,

Instead of being open and welcome its closed like a fortress,

shut cut off to those outside crying in distress.

As for Me this is My promise to them, My Holy Spirit will never leave them,

they that want the good and hate the wrong, take no rest all You who pray,

what if the doors of My House were flung open this…

I want to glorify Jesus in my sufferings

I feel broken or getting very close to it. Not in a way like when I was 14 [bullied to the point of being suicidal]. No, this is different...By broken I mean mentally and physically. I have to accept the fact that I can't do this on my own. I'm not strong, I realize that. It takes me longer to understand things. When I was in school the other students may have got it but it would possibly take me longer to grasp. So much of my life I've been socially clumsy. I'd cause trouble even if I…

Live.....Life......Leave

http://myreadywriter.blogspot.com

I was reading about the life of Albert Einstein the other day and I was shocked to know that after he died , His brain was removed and preserved by the pathologist in an attempt to know what made him so unique, intelligent and such a genius. He was the theoretical physicist who developed one of the two pillars of the modern day…

Poem: Temptations

Why is it, that the vilest of temptations

seek to violate my mind, during moments…

of weakness, solitude and prayer time?

Is it not enough that my inner person

has been consumed with the filth of my flesh?

How much longer must I wait for the body

of incorruption that will suit me in eternity?

Though I can’t seem to stop sinning,

is it wrong to want to curb its unwanted flow?

These temptations appeal to my carnality,

but I find their continuing stream…
