- My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?” Other verses of Scripture that have the same sentiment include: Psa 63:1, 84:2, 119:20, 143:6, & Isa 26:8-9. What these verses have in common is this: they are the cries from a heart that is passionate for God. What are you passionate about? Does your soul long for God? Does it cry after Him? Can you truly say that a day spent with Him is better than thousands spent somewhere else (Psa 84:10)? Are you passionate for your God?
