Reading.. Preaching.. Learning.. I especially love talking about Jesus, and meeting new people who love talking about Jesus.
I'm passionate about...
Helping people, I find great pleasure in helping people remember who they are in Jesus.. And I love helping people find out who God truly created them to be.
My story with God
As you may know, my name is Adrian Guzman. I live in Ulysses, Kansas. I grew up in a small family.. I wasn't really raised religious. My mom's side of the family was Christian, my dad's side was Catholic.. I wasn't raised with a dad.. I was raised by a single mother and her very amazing parents. At the age of 8, my dad was deported to Mexico.. For 16 years, I was raised in the world.. At the age of 16, I had my first spectacular encounter with God.. That's when I began to experiment with Christianity.. 4 years later, I'm still a Christian.. But I'm struggling.. I know, the Christian life is so much harder than a life without God.. A few months ago, on July 3rd, I lost my Best Friend.. She told me that she didn't want to be friends anymore and, sadly, that sent me into a, pitch black, dark place.. I was lost, confused.. Heartbroken, Depressed.. I was completely devastated.. I often cried myself to sleep.. I physically hurt myself.. There were many times where I contemplated suicide.. I was done.. I was ready to give up.. But though I had given up on myself and everything I believed in, God wasn't ready to give up on me.. For awhile, God gave me some space.. Or so I thought.. To me, in my walk with God, I thought I was moving backwards.. You know? I completely excluded God from my life.. But in reality, in my walk with God, I never moved.. You see, Romans 8:38 explains that nothing can separate us from the love of God.. Recently, I realized that God loves me.. He probably needed her to take a different path on the road to success.. And as I thought about it and questioned myself on whether or not I deserve to go back to being a holy servant of The Most High God.. God answered my question in the form of a video.. the video was about resurrection day.. When Mary was speaking to the young man dressed in a white robe.. It is in Mark 16:, and it reads, "Go, tell the disciples and Peter..." And Peter?? Why on earth did He just say Peter?? Wasn't it Peter whom a couple days ago denied ever knowing Jesus?? Yes!! He denied Jesus, not once.. Not twice.. But Three Times!! But still.. He told Mary to not only speak to the faithful disciples.. But by name, He told Mary to speak to Peter.. You know why? Because Jesus loves Peter.. and He died on the cross so Peter and Me, and You.. Could Be Forgiven.. Now that's what I call Grace..
