When I am interceding for someone. Or, just lead to Pray, In the same way, the Spirit also helps us in our weakness, since we do not know how to pray as we should. But the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words,{Rom 8:26} This goes past Praying in tongues, this from my experience gets to the root or core of whatever the need my be. You are moved into a place where, all you are able to do is groan or make sounds that are not words, yet Faith is still present. Holy Spirit told me to Pray one day, I asked, "for who and what?" I was told, "None of my business!" Even when we are Praying for things we need, as we ask in our langue, we may go into "tongues," Then we may go deeper still into this type of Prayer. If we go back to verse 23-25 23 However, not only the creation, but we who have the first fruits of the Spirit also groan inwardly as we eagerly await our adoption, the redemption of our bodies. 24 For we were saved with this hope in mind. Now a hope that can be observed is not really hope, for who hopes for what can be seen? 25 But if we hope for what we do not yet observe, we eagerly wait for it with patience. This shows we have a part to operate in Faith, and we can clearly see we have all the help we need in all areas. Our spirits know how to operate in Holy Spirit, we many times need to get our flesh out of the way. Trust this helps also. Great question. Love to you Little Sis

IMO, Holy Spirit is with us and in us at all times. Along with teaching us and guiding us, He is also praying for us. Christ is hearing the prayers and interceding for us. I have many times, been in the position where I couldn't pray for what I didn't know, and Holy Spirit prayed for me. I believes He puts our prayers in the heavenly language as He prays for us. If we were to hear that language we probably wouldn't understand it because that ability comes from the Holy Spirit himself.
It is a reminder that when I pray for something I don't have words for, it is okay because Holy Spirit is praying for me, using the words that I don't know. He is praying in the Will of God. We might not know how to pray the right words and pray in the will of God buy He does.

Can anyone explain to me about Romans 8:26? Why is it importent that He prays for us? I've heard about it (not much though on it) and I'd like to know more about it.

Wow once again the Lord has been amazing. Soory haven't got back sooner but just got home. Had initiaal operation things were great all looked better than expected. Then I sprang a leak internally. The day I was to head home I ended up back in surgery. Came out this time with temporary attachments.
Most importantly there was no cancer found. And the comfort felt and understood can only come from one place Praise The Lord.
Was there peace in all that has taken place these last couple weeksIn all honesty no. Yet as I said a comfort one knows can only be of The Lord
Still more healing and recovery to go . This getting old stuff Roy boy oh boy I have slowen down about 10 Yrs. Yet with The Lord's help I plan to be right back at it soon.
Thankyou ever so much for your prayers. And yes Elaine prayer is that communication with God therefore the most impotant in our relationship with Him.

My Sister I am very grateful that you are here. Some of your comments are the reasons why this group was started. Part of my story is in the discussion area. Just press view all and feel free to ask me or others what you will.
To one of your questions, "so I guess my question is can you be saved and proclaim Holy Ghost filled." I believe you answered it the best way we can." I love my church as I love God and I keep them lifted up in prayer." We can discover ourselves in a lot of trouble if we, do what they are doing. To Pray for others under the leading of The Spirit, and influenced completely by The Love of Christ, mountains can be moved and lives changed.
I Love this sentence the most, "I believe God tells me to stand still and wait." Cella you master this, and I can assure you, maturity will clearly be seen in what you do.
Again, I do look forward to getting to know you. I can see your Love for the Lord, and your excitement about the Spirit, and all God The Father has to offer us.

Hi everyone I am excited that I have another way for a closer walk with Jesus. As I learn the veiws on how others connect with the Lord it creates in me a stronger desire to get to know him more than I already have. I am grateful that I was lead to a place where I can discuss or rather interact with other believers that don't judge your faith according to how long you have been saved. I have experinced in the past even now in my walk with God that my family in Christ in my church home can be quite discouraging or rather judgemental in the aspects of my growth or maturity level in Christ. As my Pastor always say change is a process not an event and I believe that wholeheartedly yes however I believe we all grow at a different pace, some faster than other and I believe the same concept goes for maturing in Christ and allowing the Spirit to guide, teach& convict us when necessary. I love my church as I love God and I keep them lifted up in prayer as there are many that has been delivered for 15 to 20yrs but no growth and they sit in judgement of me so I guess my question is can you be saved and proclaim Holy Ghost filled if you show signs of jealousy and envy, gossipers and name slanders as well as blaspheming in church. I second guessed many times being in that house but I believe God tells me to stand still and wait. I don't want to make anyone feel uncomfortable and running away is something I struggle with as the holy spirit lead me to the book of Jonah. I am some what confused at how bing guided by the spirit sometimes causes pain for others.
I am not sure if I am in the right group for this as this too is new for me too. Well thankyou for the oppurtunity to state my case and ask a question if any of what I said makes sense to anyone as sometimes I do ramble on. God Bless

God saved me 4 times from the ravages of cancer but didn't choose to heal my husband once. Why not? Who knows?
I believe that it has so much to do with our faith. We need to trust in the Lord always. I know you are doing that. May your faith continue to grow stronger in Him.....
