1 CORINTHIANS 2 :6-16

  6Yet we do speak wisdom among those who are mature; a wisdom, however, not of this age nor of the rulers of this age, who are passing away; 7but we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God predestined before the ages to our glory; 8the wisdom which none of the rulers of this age has understood; for if they had understood it they would not have crucified the Lord of glory;

9but just as it is written,
“THINGS WHICH EYE HAS NOT SEEN AND EAR HAS NOT HEARD,
AND which HAVE NOT ENTERED THE HEART OF MAN,
ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.”

10For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. 11For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God. 12Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, 13which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words.

14But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. 15But he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no one. 16For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, THAT HE WILL INSTRUCT HIM? But we have the mind of Christ.-

Galatians 3:26-29 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

vs 27 For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.

vs 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

vs 29 And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's descendants, heirs according to promise.

By becoming Christians and being baptized we are becoming spiritually grown up and ready to take on the privileges and responsibilities of the more mature.

All of your verses and messages are so powerful, and wonderful. Praise the Lord for His Love and Holy Word.

Today's Bible Verse:

Isaiah 55:10-11
"The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it." (NLT)

Today's Inspiring Thought: God's Word is Fail-Safe

What an amazing promise about the power of God's holy Word. It always produces fruit. It never fails to accomplish everything God intends for it to do, and thrives everywhere God sends it.

We don't have to worry about carefully explaining and defending the Bible. It is fail-safe—guaranteed not to fail. All we have to do is read it, believe it, speak it, and live it. God will do the rest.

food for thoughts ,I think this should go without saying FOR the babes in CHRIST AS WELL

Today's Bible Verse:

James 2:1
My brothers, show no partiality as you hold the faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory. (ESV)

Today's Inspiring Thought: Show No Partiality

In chapter 2, James gives a strong lesson about the equality of all Christians, ending with this firm admonition in verse 9: "But if you show partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors."

We are to treat all believers, rich and poor, with the same respect and dignity. If we show favoritism or give special attention based on a person's financial status, we are committing the sin of discrimination or prejudice. Sadly, this type of preferential treatment is one of the primary reasons many Christians today have given up on church attendance.

Live in God's way, having freedom to fulfill God's plan for our lives. Thank you Elaine for your wonderful post of Psalm 119:45.

Romans 8:28 And we know that [a]God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

God is able to turn every circumstance around for our long-range good. This promise can only be claimed by those who love God and are called according to His purpose. These chosen trust in God, not life's treasures, look for their security in heaven, not on earth, learn to accept, not resent pain and persecution because God is with them.

1 Corinthians 3:16 Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

When we become Christians, the Holy Spirit fills and lives in us. Therefore, we no longer own our bodies. Christ's death freed us from sin, but also obligates us to His service. Because your body belongs to God, you must not violate His standards for living.

Ephesians 2:6-7 and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, vs 7 so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

Our eternal life with Christ is certain because we are united in his powerful victory. Our salvation and our faith are gifts, we should respond with gratitude, praise, and joy.
