One of my favorite verse comes out of Jeremiah 1:5 " Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations."
Just knowing that we dwell and had a relationship with God before we were ever formed in the womb is enough to praise Him.

For a good scripture, I love Psalm 139. I like it best in the NLT. But you can read it in any translation and get the same effect. It lets you know that you're not alone and helps to comfort you.

My favorite verse is John 16:33

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world!

I sought the Lord, and he heard me, & delivered me from my fears.......[PS. 34:4]

These 'PROMISES' comforted me today & keeps me LOOKING UNTO JESUS THE AUTHOR & FINISHER OF MY FAITH.

My husband went to be with the Lord, June 7, 2006 & was feeling alone, then God showed me ISA. 54:5-----THE LORD YOUR MAKER IS YOUR HUSBAND, THE LORD ALMIGHTY IS HIS NAME, THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL IS YOUR REDEEMER, AND HE IS CALLED GOD OF ALL THE EARTH..............
This PROMISE I repeat everday, & God has blest me in many ways & I take one day at a time & want to live according to God's way.

He is the God of all comfort & compassion, PRAISE BE HIS WONDER NAME.

Philippians 4:6-7
6) Don't worry about anything: instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He does.
7) If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will gaurd your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

wow, why to pray: to get peace in your hearts and minds and to have God gaurd your heart over your situations. That a Plus !

That verse was found in Philippians 1:6
