Persecution
It's a difficult truth we as Christians have to face. Jesus said we'd be persecuted.
But, how does one prepare for persecution inorder not to deny Jesus?I know brothers/sisters in Christ overseas face it everyday, us in America are only starting to get it.
How does one face marytrdom, persecution and rejection for Jesus and not fear? Especially, in a place where we as Christians, in America, are just getting a little taste of any future persecution?
An even harder truth how do we face it when our on families,friends and people we know persecute us?
One of the scariest things is to end up denying Jesus.

I might of shared this before, but it is to the point. As they we burning Christians to light their parties at night. One who was in line asked the one ahead of them, "hold up a finger as you are burning, to tell us if it is worth it." As they bound that one up and began to burn, that person held up two finger. To show it was more then worth it.

Who burned Christians?

Nero was the first to start what would take place off and on so a long time. Nero started this 54-68 AD. The Christians were blamed for Rome burning. Which was a lie. Anyway he would burn them to light his parties at night. However, many people throughout history have burned Christians. This story of hold up two fingers, shows God is always worth giving up ones life. What we Must know is even to this day, Christians are murdered. I believe 21 were killed while in Prayer. We have a responsibility to those who have given up their life, to share and exercise the Faith in which we as Christians Believe. Easy to say we would gladly do such a thing, we must Pray and prepare for others and ourselves, to lay down one's life for Jesus. Some have to watch their loved ones suffer before their own eyes. To any and all who have faced such things, no matter how they handled it, I must say I am humbled and Lord Bless. We must be careful not to judge if any handled it wrong. Their is forgiveness. I have never faced such things, yet I know there are people who are members of this site, that face what we are talking about. May the Lord Bless and Keep you All. In Jesus Holy Name

All, I didn't know Nero caught them on fire! Wow!
That reminds me. A boy last year at school threatened to crucify a Christian and catch the person on fire. Please pray for his soul that Jesus saves him!
